Why does link not wear a shirt in the final part of the game

The Ganondorf fight in this game is the best boss fight in the series. No gimmicks, just you and Ganondorf settling a fight that's been going on since the beginning of time

I know a lot of people were saying it seemed cheap that Zelda was changed back but I was honestly so happy the story had a happy ending. Most of the other games have had some ambiguously sad ending and it was so satisfying to see Link save the day and save Zelda and walk off into the sunset

this game made Ganondorf so fucking cool. The demon king version where he looks like Demise is so soooo cool

I honestly thought Link would never see Zelda again and she would be a dragon forever. I was happy when I beat Ganon but was dreading the inevitable goodbye. Then the cutscene with the dragon started and I was like "oh shit Rauru and Sonia are going to put her to rest or smth". Then Link and Zelda got out of the water and I was like "oh shit Zelda's gonna be dead or smth". When she woke up and actually remembered everything I was so happy lmao. Great ending to a masterpiece of a game

This is truly a legendary game and a masterpiece.

This Soundtrack is outstanding. The last 30 seconds of it are absolutely phenomenal. So powerful yet emotional. I can't stop listening .

As far as the "warm, loving embrace" thing goes...what Zelda ACTUALLY says in the true, Japanese version is something more like, "Then, I woke up surrounded by something very warm." No mention of "loving" anywhere (dumb translator people, always changing lines and putting words in characters' mouths that they didn't say). Here's that line in Japanese: そこで とても大きな...温かなものに包まれて 目が覚めたんです
If anyone needs to use a translator to read that, I recommend taking out the "...". Tends to be difficult for a translator to cope with, lol.

Everyone had their happy ending:

Sidon avenged his older sister, not only did he probably make her proud but also helped Link defeat the foe that murdered her, cause the blights were the creations of ganondorf, after that he probably could finally say goodbye to his guilt of not being able to save her and enjoy his life happily with Yona

Tulin became one of the greatest rito of their time, not only mastering Revalis ability but also showing his father that he doesn’t need to worry about him anymore, as he helped defeat Ganondorf and with that proving that he can be independent

Yunobo wasn’t much of a fighter in Botw, but helping fight against the demon king probably made him one of the greatest gorons ever, he not only earned the respect of every goron, but probably in the near future will also have his face chiseled on this stone wall where daruk, darunias.. face are seen

Riju showed the gerudo that she doesn’t need to be taken care of anymore and can fight for herself, Bylla isn’t by her side anymore anyways but she sure is really proud of her and fighting the demon king reassured her that Riju is old enough to take care of herself and not a child anymore in need of help

Zelda made the biggest sacrifice you could imagine, she sacrificed her life two times for Hyrule to live in peace, with one time literally loosing her human self, but with sacrificing herself she surely made everyone that died of the calamity proud and she earned the respect of everyone living in Hyrule, she finally got her long awaited happy end, but not only that she also avenged her father that died of the calamity and all the sages and king rauru and queen sonia, that died to ganondorf

Link became the greatest hero of their time, he defeated the strongest enemy of their timeline, an enemy that literally almost destroyed whole Hyrule, he earned the respect of everyone, made himself a name and he also finally could avenge all of his dead friends and the royal family, with that feeling he probably finally found inner peace and maybe even can let his guard down, as there is no more evil luring behind this back and live a peaceful life


With all of them giving their all into this life threatening fight they finally could restore Hyrule to its former self and I am sure that there’s no more evil awaiting them, they did it, they saved all of Hyrule, they can FINALLY all live their life happily to the fullest

My favorite part is at the start of the demon dragon fight when link pulls out the master sword and it starts glowing and the dragon gets very pissed

Its not often a video game makes me cry, especially one i haven't played, but having seen multiple playthroughs, knowing what zelda sacrificed, you FEEL the epicness. Each time you strike dragondorf, you feel like you avenge each of your friends and allies. With the music in the background as you catch zelda, its hard not to get chocked up. Well done, Nintendo.

I though wind waker Ganondorf would be the only final boss that is actually hard and technical but totk did a great job just the “HE FLURRY RUSHED MY FLURRY RUSH!?!” Made this boss iconic

The beginning cutscene always gives me goosebumps with the music playing as Ganondorf says “that is what a king must do” seems theatrical

While I appreciate the spectacle of Link freefalling to catch Zelda, I wish there was resistance from Ganon’s monsters. Maybe a huge swarm of Aerocuda arrive to try to knock Link off-course. Because as it stands now, it’s mostly just a straight dive down. I think the tensions would be higher and the music more impactful if the player actually had a bit of a challenge.

So Link and Zelda are never going to become a thing at this moment. That‘s why I‘m not playing the games

Link "sacrificing" his abilities to get Zelda back to her original form... that reminded me of Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood ending when Ed sacrifices his "alchemy" in order to rescue his brother. Might be a stretch to think like this, but I couldn't avoid it
