When I went to dragon Ganon I was on 1 HEART the rest had gloom damage but I was able to heal from Zelda's dragon since she undid the gloom.

There is a race thats more ancient than the zonai, because if you do the “legend of the great sky island” side adventure, the construct says that the zonai found the temple of time on the ground and rose it up so that one day, a hero would awaken there

You know what would have been a better execution for the Demon Dragon fight? This:

Right after swallowing the stone and transforming, Ganon ignores Link and flies into outer space to coat the entire planet in gloom using his breath. as Link helplessly watches the gloom fall from the sky, the sages come to and give their secret stones to Link, which then transform him not into a dragon, but into a godlike, winged being bathed in divine light and resembling Fierce Deity Link from Majora's Mask. Link then flies into space to confront Ganon, and a fight kind of similar to the one with Jubileus The Creator from Bayonetta ensues.
