what table do you have your printers on?
ОтветитьDisappointing. I think my Ender Neo produces better prints than what's shown here. I really need a faster, larger printer, but this doesn't look good
ОтветитьJust picked up an open box from B&H for $560…🤞
ОтветитьThat’s a very positive sounding review of a bunch of prints that all looked pretty terrible.
ОтветитьPrint quality is junk
ОтветитьMaybe try printing at lower speeds for a real comparison.
ОтветитьI just got the K1 Max for $650! 😁
ОтветитьIt seems in your review all the issues you pointed out had excuses attached to them. This may be an option for needing a bigger built plate only before Bambu Lab releases a bigger built plate unit most likely in 2024. Then Creality will rush to the Xerox copy machine to make yet another release of 3D printer in an all ready crowded Creality product line. In the prints you showed in my opinion they didn't look that impressive in quality.
ОтветитьTell me Bamboo pays you a lot more than Creality without telling me they pay you a lot. So bias and you never mention Bamboo direct upload to CCP servers of everything you try to print.
ОтветитьI'm confused. A generally positive review even though you consistently identify problems in print quality. Banding, ghosting, and stringing are not "good prints".
ОтветитьSo I should buy the Bambo.... I'm looking to upgrade one time from an Anet-a8. 😂
ОтветитьNoob
ОтветитьDid you calibrate the filament or just run the tests without calibration.
From one color or brand calibration results differ. This is mostly user error if you dont calibrate your materials.
WARNING!!! Creality is trash they send crap broken printers and then give you weeks of run around about getting refund.
ОтветитьOMG pls blink more
Ответитьas a side note regarding the AI issues...specifically print failure.... i really believe its due to the poor lighting, its doing the ai detection via camera, and honestly...due to the lack of lighting half of the build volume is uselessly dark
ОтветитьThank you for taking the time to make this review.
I have been considering purchasing one but I think I’ll wait, at least until Creality have fixed the various issues you’ve mentioned. They’re enough to put me off buying for now.
How about the Comgrow T500, it looks like a well built beast.
ОтветитьDoes it not say in the instruction that for PLA the top should be left off?
ОтветитьI use Cura slicer only.
I understand that the slicer for this K1 Max is based on Cura.
My question is, are all the settings that I now have in Cura also accessible on the version for this printer?
If I were to create a profile on the K1 slicer version and save that profile, would normal Cura be able to import it and it would work?
I saw one yesterday. Apparently, it's not the "1st release" version (or the demo on that is sent to companies to test), but a new one with certain issues fixed.
I was talking to the guy at the store, standing right beside the Max. What caught my attention is just how quiet it is!
Then, I looked at the print job going on and notices just how clean it looked.
I noticed too that the extruder was flying back and forth at high speed. Apparently, this job was being printed at 150mms. I know that the machine can handle 600mms, supposedly, but for me, 150 is just fine!
When looking at it, not knowing anything about it, I asked the guy the price, including taxes (out the door). I expected him to say something like $2,500 to $3,000! But nope.. MUCH MUCH LESS!
The only 2 things that concern me are that the danged filament spool is at the rear of the machine. I guess that's addressable as the tubing can swing around to the side and there is a spool holder available that can be screwed onto the side where there are 3 screws already.
The other thing, more of a concern, is how hot the stepper motors are, that are at the read.
The guy, knowing this machine so well, did say that yes they are hot, but with the pre-release (test/demo) version they were much hotter and this was one of the things that Creality was supposed to address. I'm not sure that they did, however. I would think that a better idea would be to add some sort of surround over them with cool air from outside the machine, being pumped into the surround and back out to the outside. This would avoid air being pumped into the enclosure, cooling the inside and sucking in dust.
Other than those 2 things, I'm seriously considering buying one and selling this damned Wanhao Duplicator 9, MK2 400... even though I do have it working very well now after a bunch of mods.
Hello, since I want my first printer, if I don’t need the speed and the volume I should choose the X1c? Thanks
ОтветитьWhat hex wall panels are you using there that have there with an upper shelf. Those are awesome.
ОтветитьWill it print carbon fiber nylon ?
ОтветитьI was looking at the Bambu, but since the print area is no bigger than my current printer, no point. Very puzzling that in this day and age that companies are still releasing products with such faults in all types of products.
ОтветитьI got the k1 max and I love it. Prints fast af! And perfect first layers every time.
ОтветитьHoly Crap you did some REAL Good testing everybody else I saw only did benchys and reg prints and DID Not test the camera and Ai failed print detection..BRAvo
ОтветитьSo I know the printer is all about speed, but my concern is quality of print. Id be willing to accept the so-so quality I keep seeing on a fast print. But I would like to know if the quality of prints is much better if you were to print more slowly. I suppose I'm hoping for a best of both worlds answer here. I have a fairly heavily moded ender 5 plus that delivers beautiful quality at like 80 mm/sec. So, Is the k1 max good fast and very good slow? Or are the slow prints the kinda so-so quality we see in the examples? Hope my question made sense. Thanks in advance!
ОтветитьThinking for getting a "Prusa MK4 3D Printer kit" It seems to be a quality maching with good customer service. That's Important to me as this will be my 1st 3d printer. I don't want to get a 3d print have an issue.... Instructions not in english & no tech support.... Thoughts? Have you used this machine or have any feedback from others on this?
Ответитьhow do you handle the fumes?
ОтветитьHey
Could you please suggest me a 3d printer. My budget is approx 500usd.
It's my first time purchasing one.
I have a few in mind: creality 5 S1, CB 200pro and Ender 6.
Which one do you think is better one?
The imperfections you show on your test prints are not that good in my opinion. I have the K1 and I am impressed with the print results, and I don’t have any stringing at all.
Ответитьgood hardware trash software. as always, community will fix. chinese have no sense for quality and like to make things work SOMEHOW without pointing out issues. mostly not good enough, hacky and crappy solutions. lots of experience as a western dev working with chinese devs.
ОтветитьThe k1 are garbage and unreliable
ОтветитьIs thid guy related to "wide neck man"?
And how are going to judge the loudness of the printer with the glass door open?
That typical of Creality, deploy a product that needs many upgrades instead of delivery a top notch product. It's as if they have it all planned out to make consumers buy the "New" product. Their moto is "Cash grab". Don't be fooled by this guy who sold his soul to the devil for a free printer.
ОтветитьMine came in with a smashed door, creality got one on the way fast. I only have a couple complaints after printing about 100 hrs. It suffers from bowden jump, The fans are loud loud, and the overhead glass needed to be a bit taller to keep the cable chain from hitting. Other than my filament issue mine has put out some prints. Its nice to have the extra room to do petg without having to cover my cr10s.
Ответить1. BIG GAPS over all, no wonder it's loud!
2. The filament path is away of, and just do anything worse.
3. The LIDAR do NOT work, it has been proved again and again, and since Craplity say it IS working, then this is a BIG MINUS.
4. The Craplity app is overloaded with spam, and do you and other REALLY trust a china cloud service?
That should ALSO rise a big red flag and also count as an BIG MINUS!
5. DC Heated bed? (I just shake my head from side to side).
How and why are you then still say it's a good product is beyond my mind.
You are overselling this bad product.
I won't follow your channel anymore, I simply can't stand people that are not honest!
I want the quality of the x1c but the size of the k1 max😭
ОтветитьLove your T-shirt! Where can I get one?
ОтветитьThat 800% Cali Cat is insane hahaha.
ОтветитьReally, who designs a enclosed printer but then has a big square hole in the bottom right to allow for the touch screen?
They been better off having either the screen as a separate unit plugged in to a port so the screen can be put aside and the door then be fully sealed no hole there,
Or have the screen up on the top right of the outside frame on a bracket with the plug there to plug it into. so it is clear of the door area.
I seen a few reviews of the K1 and the K1 Max. And I not impressed with the ongoing problems and bad design like the door hole for the screen!
I most likely get the Bambu P1S instead of this K1 Max. I don't think Creality has really fixed the issues the 1st version had?
Until I have saved up for the fast core xy enclosed Klipper type 3D printer I am after, I make d with the BTT Pad 7 I ordered and I be getting delivered Monday!
I got the Elegoo Neptune 3 Max so I use the pad 7 to see how fast and detailed that one can do with the pad 7?
They've been releasing a lot of firmware releases...... did you check that before testing?
ОтветитьGood review, but a little plea… Try not to bounce your head around all the time. :D Almost got seasick haha. :) Thanks for a nice video.
ОтветитьDC Heated bed?
ОтветитьSince when did they start putting "HARDENED STEEL NOZZLE"s on these ? Mine came one and a half weeks ago with a BRASS nozzle.
ОтветитьYour channel has just gotten better and better. Thank you.
ОтветитьIf you're looking for this over the K1 or P1S/X1C, you're looking for build size. So the real question is, how does it stack up to the QIDItech X Max 3, which is $100 more, is 10% larger and has a heated enclosure?
ОтветитьWas waiting for the improved K1 / K1 max reviews.. But it seems like they still dont match the quality of the competition.. (bambu lab)
Ответить
