That’s so cool you met Scott on Tape! I just discovered him last year through Adam the Woo. Also, my Dad’s secret ingredient for the chili he made was cinnamon
ОтветитьOnly in Ohio 💀
ОтветитьGoofy ahh
ОтветитьHe won't eat sauerkraut, but thinks "blue" is a flavor? Stop feeding him crayons!

ОтветитьI grew up in Cincinnati, but I'd never heard of goetta until I was an adult. I've still never eaten it or seen it in a restaurant. I think it's a west side food.
ОтветитьMcDonald's had a blueberry milkshake in the 70's. It was for the bicentennial. It was awesome and only had it for one summer. It was a red(strawberry), white(vanilla), and blue(blueberry).
ОтветитьI have a recommend in ohio
ОтветитьPlease
ОтветитьPlease go to Lowellville, Ohio. They have the most wonderful Italian festival in July.. games & rides for the kids, wonderful Italian music & food; in town, you'll find THE BEST Italian restaurant i have ever been to.. Carchedi's.. there the real deal!! I hope your travels take you there..❤
ОтветитьEuclid Beach popcorn balls could rate an Honorable Mention.
And authentic Lawson's chip dip, which can still be found at Circle K convenience stores.
You need to come to the Dayton area, there are some hidden gems: K’s Hamburgers in Troy, Maid-Rites in Greenville, Marion’s Pizza in Dayton
ОтветитьThere are some iconic places to eat in southeastern ohio. Have you been there?
ОтветитьSanks! 👍🏼❤️ As for the G&R? I live just south of Waldo, Oh and had my first (and last) bologna sandwich there in about 1987. Too much bologna for me! (And I like garlic bologna. Just not a 3/4” thick slice of it!) 🤢
ОтветитьFor Fresh Fried Lake Erie Walleye and Perch, Be sure to try Jolly Rogers in Port Clinton right on the lake. Great homemade Onion rings too! We go there every year we are there!
ОтветитьTry hot dog heaven in Amherst Ohio their old restaurant had burnt down, but they ended up building a new one
ОтветитьLoved your list but where did you have the sauerkraut balls?

ОтветитьIce cream and candy...Dietch Brothers, Findlay Oh...... BBQ Ribs New Reigel Cafe, New Reigel ..... Hamburger Wilson's Findlay
ОтветитьGrammpas Cheese Barn…..yum
ОтветитьBarberton chicken is iconic
ОтветитьSorry, we went to Belgrade Gardens some years ago. My wife ordered the chicken. It was raw. I mean, raw. Bloody raw. Never went back. At the long defunct Ideal Dairy in Massillon, Ohio, we used to get Blue Moon ice cream cones. Speaking of Massillon, if you haven't yet, try the Cameo burger.
ОтветитьGlad you put us at #1. AT is great, they have tours of the candy factory too, always fun to walk through and see how they make all of it.
ОтветитьYou could do a whole video on Cleveland's B.A. Sweetie Candy Co. Biggest in the country!
ОтветитьDLM killer brownie
ОтветитьAt one it was greattnowyou can get your grease hcked
K
You'll never have a better fish diner then Lake Erie perch. 👍
ОтветитьI know it’s hard for the Ohio “Yankees” to fathom, but there is a LOT of Ohio south of Cincinnati and Columbus. Born and raised in the southernmost part of Ohio, I can tell you, the Appalachian part of the state has the best food. Next time you travel, tell Siri you want to find the part of the state all of the politicians have forgotten about, or name the video “best food in Northern Ohio”
ОтветитьHeggy’s Chocolates could’ve helped in promoting world peace at one point. ❤
ОтветитьCincinnati Ohio is home of the worst food in the world and you included three of them in this video. Another horrible food from Cincinnati is LaRosa’s pizza.
ОтветитьOn High Street in Columbus, on the East side you have Eagle Family Candies and further down on the West side you have the Buckeye Lady. Their Buckeyes are the best.
ОтветитьYou know it is really good when kids approve of it. If they don't like it they will let you know.
ОтветитьCome to Bill’s donuts in Centerville, Ohio. We are rated the nations number two best donut according to US News and we are super proud of it.
ОтветитьOh man. Smurf ice cream is one of my childhood favorites. The absolute best. Buckeyes are a Holiday staple in my area of Ohio (I wouldnt know if southern ohio does the same). My mind was blown as an older child when I learned other states didn't eat them for the holidays. Lol. Before the internet of course.
ОтветитьCleveland born and raised and I have to say this is a well made list! It would have been great if Hot Sauce Williams was still around their Polish Boy's were the hands down best not to mention the fried chicken and amazing bbq sauce. I think both Pierogies and Slyman's corned beef should be on anyone's list but the one that needs to go is Cincinnati chili/Skyline it's overrated, just skip it.
ОтветитьCute video. There's a lot of food gems in Ohio.
ОтветитьYou had me at walleye
ОтветитьColumbus Ohio,Livingston Ave. Reshechs Bakery best in Ohio,Not for Debate,All Factz
ОтветитьWhite House Barberton chicken is the best.
ОтветитьStrickland's custard Akron, Hartville Kitchen (Amish style cooking) Hartville Chocolate Factory Best, chocolate strawberries peanut butter cups and buckeyes around.
ОтветитьHot dog shoppe Warren oh
ОтветитьYou should eat the Skidi toilet in Ohio
ОтветитьBelgrade Gardens is the most overrated chicken in the entirety of Summit County. It's not bad, but there many, MANY more places with better chicken. And the service there is lacking. The employees think they're better than everyone ele. It's like, look, you make fried chicken, get off your high horse.
ОтветитьMr. Hero
ОтветитьNobody in Ohio really doesn't like skyline chili just saying taste like a can I promise
ОтветитьI am 59. Lived in Ohio my whole life. I have only heard about 4 of all the items mentioned. You left out valley style pizza.
Ответитьgo to detroit!! they have delicious cuisine!!!!
