I was in Korea and saw a great deal of the killing and destruction happening. I was a tank commander with the 2nd infantry . Spent most of my time in positions in the North Korea area. It was known as the Iron Triangle area. We fought the Chinese army and The North Korean army. Too much killing on both sides.. SK
ОтветитьWhy such large hat?
ОтветитьKorea, Vietnam, Iraq, and all the dirty little wars in South and Central America are war crimes. Veterans of those wars would do best to keep silent and bear your shame with dignity.
ОтветитьThe forgotten war should be forgotten, no more. Those men or just as much heroes as those who fought on D-Day. Some of them actually did fight on D-Day.
ОтветитьThat last statement about the angel send chills of my spine. That sounds very close to true and accurate. No record of any replacements and none killed in action else. Would you explain that?
ОтветитьSalute!
ОтветитьWell, once he mentioned the “ping” myth I lost interest in listening to an old man exaggerate and embellish his war story. Probably a cook, lol😂
ОтветитьMy dad believes he also was rescued by an angel. He was on board a destroyer in the Aleutian Islands area. They were in a vicious storm, a storm that swept a good friend overboard. Dad was traversing from one part of the ship to another up on deck at night. He had a hold of some guide rope or something when a wave caught him and pulled him with terrible force. It was ripping his fingers off that rope or cable when someone grabbed him by his hair and held him there long enough for him to regain his feet and get back below. He later searched that ship and no one knew anything about the incident.
ОтветитьKorea + USA forever!
I express infinite gratitude to the fallen soldiers of
the US Army, US Marine Corps, and UN forces who fought in the Korean War.
Korea has developed this far thanks to your
sacrifices and dedication.
Although much time has passed,I will always remember and be grateful for your sacrifice, and I
will also remind my descendants of your sacrifice.
That ending hit different
ОтветитьMans a real cowboy. Thank you for the video.
ОтветитьWow. Chills at the end.
ОтветитьI used to work with an older Portuguese man… no more than 5’ tall.
I was friends with his nephew who was probably 20 years older than me at the time.
He asked his uncle to lift up his shirt one day.
He was littered with knife wounds.
He proceeded to tell his story of how in the Korean War the battle went on so long that both sides ran out of ammunition.
So they proceeded to bayonet fight each other for another hour.
I believe he had 7-8 bayonet wounds.
He could tell by the look in my 24 year old eyes that I had never heard of such a thing in my life.
He lowered his shirt, smiled and said I’m still here.
You can only imagine how bad he gave it back.🤯💪👍🥃
“Good Will Prevail” G.W. Bush
Are you kidding?
This war deserves more recognition of the warriors who fought there
ОтветитьIMO Bush was knowingly involved in orchestrating the Sept. 11 attack on our Constitutional Republic. I find it ironic that you chose to include a quote from him in your work.
Ответитьcan't understand anything the way he describes it

ОтветитьMy Dad's first overseas tour of duty was in a place called "The Rok!"...The Republic Of South Korea...His assigned unit: 1st Bn 12th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Cavalry Division....That was 1958, the year I was born. His 2nd tour was in 1965, the 1st Cav Division was still holdin' things down until the ARMY switched colors, sending the newly formed 1st Cavalry (Airmobile) to Vietnam and was replaced with the 2nd Infantry Division "2nd To None," which at the time was a training unit at Ft Benning Ga. along with the 11th Air Assualt (test). My Dad would eventually make his way to Vietnam, arriving in March of 1968. His assigned unit was B Co 3rd Bn 47th Infantry Regiment, 9th Infantry Division. Base camp, "Bearcat," their assigned duty of operation: the Mekong Delta region of South Vietnam, which was known as the MRF: The Mobile Riverine Force. After 20 years of service, he retired with the rank of E-7, Sergeant First Class, and passed in November of '83..R.I.P
ОтветитьMy father was drafted and sent to Korea. While there he became detached from his unit and designated MIA and presumed dead. He never spoke about the war. He was not a fan.
ОтветитьIf the USA is going to tell the story of the Korean War as if it won the war alone, why did it ask for help from other allies? The Turkish soldiers sent by Türkiye in the Korean War showed heroism in Korea despite all the difficulties. And during the Korean War, it was thought that the war was lost and all the USA and other allied troops (except the Turkish troops) withdrew. The Turkish soldiers fought alone against the attacking enemy troops and defended the defense line. In the face of strong Turkish defense resistance, the Chinese and North Korean soldiers withdrew. They achieved this success despite the lack of equipment provided by the USA and the allies. Thereupon, the USA and the other allies returned to the battlefield they had left. This breaking point is never mentioned. The USA lost the war in Korea. The USA, the other allies, and South Korea owe a great debt of gratitude to Türkiye. If this war was won, it was won because of the determination and fighting skills of the Turks.
ОтветитьI wonder if they promoted him from pvt to pfc because when you die you get promoted. Must have been some dark humor cultural. Could be wrong but cool thought
ОтветитьI don’t get to know my grandfather cuz of this war, he drowned himself in the pacific off the coast of point migu. All because he had no one to talk about his experiences
ОтветитьFree UK from Islam
Ответитьabsolutely, sir…God did indeed send an Angel to protect you from that shell. No doubt in my mind.🙏🕊️🤗
ОтветитьI’ve always wanted a BAR ever since I was a kid growing up. Also an M1. I’m more into modern stuff like the AR but I’ll always have a huge respect and love for some of the older platforms just for the cool factor. There’s a company that makes a modernized BAR with picatinny rails so you can mount optics/scopes and other accessories. Thing is insanely expensive though. Maybe one day I’ll have one but even then it’s not a real BAR as it’s semi automatic. I’d love to have a real one.
ОтветитьGreat channel but can hardly stand to hear George Bush’s voice at the first of every video of these great heroes
ОтветитьWhat an absolute legend, respect from your Aussie brothers
Ответить❤❤❤ ANOTHER GREAT MAN 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
ОтветитьGot a 94 year old friend who was on the USS Chivallier in Korea. He told me a story where they were ordered to shell any mode of transportation the enemy could use. One day a call came to shell a Cow.
ОтветитьMy dad was in the 1st cavalry in Korea.
ОтветитьI lowkey have wanted to move to south korea for ages
ОтветитьWithout your service we could’ve not exist. I really thank you so much for everything
ОтветитьBut what was the hand to hand fighting like? How did he take them out? What techiques did he use and what did the enemy use in hand to hand?
ОтветитьSo what was this angels name?
ОтветитьBack in the 1990s, I got stuck between Chelsea fans and some other group fighting on our high street. The Chelsea fans started running towards me to get at the oppo. So I also started running with them at the front; I was fat face schoolboy and was completely ignored by the hooligans and the police while everyone else was fighting. Lol😂
ОтветитьIt's going to be so sad when they are all gone... I always tell the younger generations that those old mem they see in those hats are the real Gamgsters. Beautiful young men sacrificed 😭
ОтветитьTHANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE SIR
ОтветитьMY MAN! BAD DUDE!!!
