Never going to leave my canon 6dmkII, old but gold, love the battery life, the colors the shape and everything else, even if i have some mirrorless i still prefer that in many occasions.

I become Headshot Crew Associate shooting X-H1, and now im still using it. Its still love this tool. New Fuji lacks features i love in X-H1 so i dont have reason to change.

I totally agree with your philosophy about not buying brand new, although I bought my X-S10 new. Having said this, I did buy my X-T3 used, and it is a solid camera for my needs. Now you having me thinking I could replace my X-S10 with a used X-H1!! Kidding! I love my X-S10. Anyway, thanks for a very entertaining video. I really enjoyed watching it and hearing your perspective on it. You video footage on it looks awesome, and I am glad to hear that you shoot Eterna as I do as well! My first camera was also the Fujifilm X-H1. After years of use, it remains sturdy, durable, and delivers good image quality. And my X-H1 has accompanied me on travels around the world, sharing many wonderful moments with me.

I would never get rid of my Olympus EM-1....I love that camera!

Do you still use silver Efex with your files? I noticed some of your work was film sim oriented. Are you using a lot of the jpeg sims these days? Excellent video!

I am still shooting with my Canon 5Ds, 5D Mkiii and EOS 1V 35mm film cameras. I have great EF L lenses and I simply cannot justify an upgrade. With these are my X100F and Haselblad 500CM, I guess I am just not as open to others when watching that bombardment of marketers wanting my golden coins.

My camera I've built my career on is the Canon M50 mk 1, which is allegedly two generations out of date, or something like that. Turns out it still does photos and videos, which is what I get paid for.

dear and how does it work the autofocus for still pictures this xh1? sucks as well as in video? help please.... I am looking a portable camera for modeling and street photo...

I just bought one off KEH, so, after I get the firmware upgraded, unless I am lucky enough for that to have been done for me, I will get it set up for use. Hopefully, using some of the same settings as my X-T2 will get me up and running quickly. Don't shoot video, yet, and the IBIS will be welcome with my next lens coming, soon, the XF 50-140 F2.8 because I don't always want to carry my tripod.

Unbelievable, I attempted to sell XH1 and the current market prices 😮 I refused to sell it and sold my X100T instead. Bought for 200 bugs in the past and now I sold it for 500 😅

Thanks for confirming the XH1 is a great camera, I have had mine since 2019 and bought it when Fuji dropped its price by nearly 50% with battery grip. Stopped me from buying XT3! Now have Tamron 18-300 on it instead of Fuji 16-55, without battery grip it is now very light which is making me use it again!

I still use my trusty X-T1 with that F2.8 28mm pancake lens, this is by far my favorite combo, easy to travel with, takes amazing pictures, can do amazing things as long as you are willing to work with its limitations.
And if I ever need to get something from an unknown environment, I bust out the Nikon D500 with the 28-80mm F2.8-F4 zoom lens. Amazing combo capable of facing any situation and bring back usuable pictures.

Also dream to own the X-H1 one day but that even with the new one being released, it is still quite the expensive purchase.

I really like the “Are you better than your camera” comment. I know I’m not, but I also like to challenge myself with limitations. For most, chasing the latest and greatest gear is a losing game. Well done.

So much this. I went from a near new Lumix G9 to an older Fujifilm X-H1 when i got to test continuous AF and saw the results from the XF50-140. Some new batteries and now it lasts all day at events. Amazing level of camera, and at a cheap price these days.

I have a Canon XTi, was my first DSLR when it was new. Sold it many years back then bought a used one last year for MUCH less than I sold mine. Plan to hold on that one.

I've been looking for a good deal on a used xpro 3 for some time, but I think your video convinced me to go for a xh1 - if I can find one. I would never get the xh2, because I can't stand mode dials and looking at LCD screens. I've been using a panasonic lx100 for ~7 years now and I can do everything I need (Shutter, aperture, focus mode, ISO...) without removing my eye from the viewfinder. Because everything has it's own dial, and you learn to count the clicks and get a feel for it.

Great video @SamuelStreetlife and I can't agree more! However I am wanting to change my gear cuz of weight, d750 with 50mm 1.8G and 35-70 2.8D + 70-210 2.8D are just too much these days. Want to get more into video as well so wondering if xs10 or t4 or xh1? like you said, no need for the latest and greatest ;) Share your thoughts, would much appreciate it
