Hire Pete Carrol. Give him 3 year contract…Hire Joe Brady as OC and assistant Head Coach.. and when Carrol retires, Joe Brady is the head coach

Getting a coach for your Qb that’s already failed at a young qb isn’t a position the bears should get into. But that’s a typical bears hire! lol

Ben doesn't want to coach Caleb. He's looking at Jax. He may even wait for Dallas where the qb has talent. Possibly even Cleveland for a rookie.

I’m genuinely amazed people think Jayden would have actually succeeded and been healthy with this team. Zero chance he would have played the full year with us.

Johnson should be the target, but if you miss, trading for Tomlin makes sense. He's better than Vrabel, and everyone seemed pumped on that option.

Mccarthy couldnt win a SB with Dallas...only one with Rogers. sure he can get the bears to the playoffs but not proven to get them further

I’ve heard Johnson is looking at the raider. Why? By the time they get the team is fixed and are able to get a qb he could be fired not because he isn’t good but just because it’s a long rebuild and they might say it’s better to start a qb with clean slate.

What exactly do you think an interview with JD would have accomplished? You think with all the film that's out there in both QBs that some Q&A would have changed their mind or something? And if it did, THAT would have been good process? 😬

Does everyone forget the epic Andy Reid to the chiefs story? Hunt flew his jet to the airport to intercept Reid. Jerry jones if he really like Ben johnson would probably do something like that. But the rumor in Texas is he likes sark

Can someone explain why Ben Johnson would want to face his friend and mentor Dan Campbell every year? How is this not a reason to not take the Chicago job.

Bears can interview him but I think he ultimately go elsewhere. Brian Flores on the other hand might be in the division but he and KOC aren’t as close as Johnson and Campbell. Flores also has ties to poles. He will have high standards and great defense (Monsters of the midway return)

One thing about McCarthy is wherever he goes good qb play follows. Unfortunately the run game and defense usually suffers but hey Caleb would probably put up numbers.

Drew petting is one of the best public speakers and knows how to build a run game (poor man’s Ben Johnson)

Pete carol would be the John fox hire. Really curious who he knows as assistants.

So glad they didn’t hire vrabel saw a video of him trying to coach Malik Willis on qb mechanics dude your a linebacker stick to your strength.

Joe Brady can manage talented players (Josh Allen, Joe burrow) but can he lead and develop players as a head coach idk.his time in Carolina wasn’t great.

Vance Joesph really only a candidate because he attached himself to Sean Payton. Might stabilize the defense.

It’s been the coaching that has destroyed the Bears for decades. That, and pretending the NFL is going to let a team win Super Bowls consistently with defense. Even the Ravens figured out that they needed an offense.

Unfortunately I can see Ben Johnson going to the Raiders. Bring his own GM, tear it down, DON'T draft a QB and instead go get his guy next year! If ownership was on board, they'd definitely be willing to be more patient in order to build a team that can contend every year.

Another reason this makes sense for them is until further notice, the Chiefs still own this division and likely will for another couple of years until probably their coach retires.

I`m fine not having the QB that runs a college offense where he throws to his first read 70% of the time, Daniels will be the next Stroud, once teams have a years' worth of tape, they`ll figure him out.

When I think you guys couldn’t get any dumber…you just open your mouths…the offensive line matters. It didn’t matter which quarterback came here because the offensive line is a complete joke. The last time I checked, Daniels needed a complete breakdown by the Bears defense and a Hail Mary to beat Caleb Williams who literally has no offensive line, Daniels is Justin Fields with better coaching

What's worse? Repeatedly losing in the first round of the playoffs, but having a consistent 10+ wins each year or every year is a miserable Ground Hog day repeat of a sub-.500 record? Frankly, I would rather enjoy the season....and THEN worry about what it takes to push you over the top.

Bears fans in the chats and comments are way too opinionated, so much so, that they think they know better than literally everyone else. You can have an opinion without having to bash someone else for theirs. It's the internet effect. These people would never interact like this in real life.
