iPhone 16e user reviews Google Pixel 9a - PROOF!

Down to personal preference at the end of the day. Although I know the Pixel is better, I prefer Apple and its simplicity, so therefore that’s what I’m sticking to.

The 60hz spec is a no-go. Don't buy this. The responsiveness of the display is always the way to go, not the animations but the native smooth transition. I cut the animation on Android to 0.5 scale and get faster interactions and smoother animations. So this option alone is going to make the benefit if youre into that. It's available in the developer options but yeah that sounds like a flag but I don't see apple is giving you any options at all in this regard. The chip of the iphone is much more capable but it doesn't show in real life performance. But in benchmarks it's day and night for the apple silicon no doubt. But in this price category it's not that important in my opinion.

All Pixel users - you can enable developer options and increase animations speed to x 0.5. It becomes A LOT snappier.

I bought iPhone 13 Pro Max when they first came out around 3 years ago for 900 hundred dollars and now it’s acting like it’s needing an upgrade replacement !! So in three weeks I am buying a Google Pixel 9a for an emergency backup cellphone!! And didn’t think until now that I would actually ever going back to Android a second time !!! And 4 of us already have left iPhone already and I eventually will too !!!

The camera might be 48MP but it's not the same sensor as the regular iPhone 16, it's quite a bit smaller

I would think people who are getting budget friendly phones aren't really that invested in an ecosystem but i can understand where it comes from.

There really is NO justification for the 16e. For the SAME price, you can get the OnePlus 12/13R. This really isn't debatable. Go Pixel

I don't get the point that "if you just want to ring people up then the iPhone might be better." Like is it really that hard to do that on the Pixel? It's not. It's justifying Apple not doing anything to stand out, because you can't even say that they optimize things more because who has ever had a problem making a phone call? If anything, Google makes phone things easier because of their spam filtering and call-related features

How come you ain't telling everybody the pixel 9a tensor gen 4 processor is different from the rest of pixel 9 lineup. It uses a different GPU and CPU. Both weaker.

60Hz in 2025 - No Ty. No need to look any further.300$ on sale vs 550$ on sale. Going from my 14 pro max to a pixel 10 series this year. (9a is a good get for budget minded folks)

Budget Friendly? 500 pounds? You do know you can get a good phone cheaper. Galaxy A56, Nord 4, Nothing 3a or 3a Pro, etc., for just a bit more could get a much better phone like the OnePlus 12, or 13R if one cannot find the 12.

16 e is a Garbage !

I have a 16 Pro Max at the mpment but if I were looking at a budget phone, it'd be the Pixel all day long.

To compare the iPhone to an Android is like the Democrats and the Republicans in America actually agreeing on anything. Although I'm a lifelong Android user who has always wanted to make the move to the iPhone, but every time I go to make that move, I find out how iPhone apps are very limited or that you have to pay for them. And we all know that Android does not have that issue, which always creates the deal breaker.

Give any android a go and after a year it’s slow as a turtle 😂
