ОтветитьMy first Pilates video was a great one! I like your style, minimal auditory stimulation; nice and calm. And I love that you explain the purpose of some of the exercises (i.e. this is extending the upper spine) and the offered modifications for easier or harder.

ОтветитьI have fibromyalgia, EDS, and POTS which combined make exercise rather dangerous (constant pain, joint hyper mobility, low blood volume) but this didn’t strain my body at all! Thank you for avoiding postures that can cause joints to overextend and using restorative postures between exercises. I already exercise regularly as a performer (so many dance classes!) but usually it’s very difficult and I have to make adjustments because certain moves are dangerous for me done incorrectly. This took off the mental load and made exercise a joy even today when I’m having a lot of pain. I’m excited to try more of your workouts!
ОтветитьI love the way you made it easy for a physically strong person, but new to Pilates. I’m commenting after my first session in between “life shifts” (momming, house keeping, employee-ing) just trying to limber up and relieve some EXTRA hip pains and popping.

ОтветитьGreat workout, Jessica! Hey.. I'd like my husband to try pilates. He's pending total shoulder replacement on Left, R shoulder has a tear, and R hip has tons of osteo. He can't do any chest presses or arms over head. Would you have a beginner's video that might fit this criteria? I know pilates will really help him! It could be total mat, or perhaps standing, but not both as he has a hard time going up and down.
ОтветитьI was in a foot cast for 9 months and am only now being cleared to start basic exercise but EVERY muscle is so weak. My legs and core especially. Is this beginner pilates a good place to start? Ive never done pilates before. I just did this workout and it was so hard. My body is weak. 😢 if this isnt it, where should i start?

Ответитьi just got off my a$$ and started. i have pilates on my radar for the future - like a set program, but i didn't see the value of waiting to start, and i found YOU !! lucky me !!. i can't do a lot of things i used to do (62), but i'm still a True Believer in keeping what we can as far as strength and mobility. i used to run and lift religiously. then life, kids, etc. i still stayed active, but not i'm seeing a new view of what's ahead.
so thank you. i already feel my body waking up!

ОтветитьAhhhh this made me feel so good!!! I used to do pilates videos by Karon Karter on tv with my mom just over 10 years ago... My body has been so stiff these last few months that I haven't been able to do the cardio workouts I would enjoy doing the past couple of years. This video is bringing me back to my roots of home workouts!!! It feels great to finish a workout without pain and with a feeling of satisfaction. Thank you Jessica for your wonderful videos!!! ❤❤❤

This video was excellent and helped me not feel so gross and lazy while not having to dedicate so much time into getting ready and going. Im so glad i found this
