There's a black 1 in my country with spoiler 2001 s200 he wants $10,000 I'd give him $7500 but is it worth buying
ОтветитьI saw a CR the other day 😍
ОтветитьBuy Mazda mx5 if you under 6feet tall.
ОтветитьWhen people stop accelerating and cruise at 6000 rpm... I want to yell, 'Shift up or floor it you bloody donut!!'
ОтветитьDrove both and I like the ap1 better cause of the raw sound and 9krev. The ap2 is more smooth and more gentle.
Ответитьim tryna sell 1
Ответитьwhat rims you got on the s2k?
ОтветитьAp2
ОтветитьGreat video! What side skirts are those?
ОтветитьBought 2 of them. I was No. 7 in Norway to get delivery in june 2000. Crashed it of course and bought another in 2003. Both AP1. Wouldn't even consider an AP2
ОтветитьJust a timeless car. For sure one of the best looking cars.
ОтветитьDisagree my NFR is the only color that matters
ОтветитьRare colours, dunno maybe it's just rare in the UK, but i've been looking for the right Imola Orange S2000 for years and years and years.
ОтветитьOuch, them hard top S2000's are beautiful ❤!!!
ОтветитьThe Honda S2000 fuckin ROCKS
ОтветитьThanks for the info, lookin at an Ap1 white w/ red interior. Sooo nice!
Ответитьhad an 03 for half a decade as a first car. Thing rode out from 100k-170k with just plugs/coils and oil changes. TCT was squeakin though
ОтветитьOne additional color you missed is the Imola pearl orange. I believe they produced 80 around the world. Only available in Europe Japan and Canada. I had owned one amazing color. It was originally introduced on a Acura Nsx. Cheers from Canada.
ОтветитьIdek why im watching this, ill never own one xD
ОтветитьI really want one instead of my 23 civic, but at the same time, its hard to find parts for this car so it would be pricey to take care of.
Ответить7000 dollars wont even get you a junker anymore, good luck with that, the engine alone will be worth 10,000 so even if the shell is totaled people will still pay 10 grand if the engine runs.
ОтветитьAP1 = 9k redline magic
ОтветитьDo not sweat! The car is overrated . It’s honest not that great. It’s a heavy oil drinker
ОтветитьYou left out the yellow. I think they were slightly different depending on AP1 or AP2. I think the AP1 was Spa Yellow and the AP2 was Rio Yellow. Just saying... 😉
ОтветитьI will get a yellow S2000 in yellow as my JDM crown of jade when i get rich
ОтветитьWhat? No Silverstone with red interior?
Ответитьthe biggest problem is the top tearing due to normal use which is a manufacturing issue. i had two replaced under warranty and i
put a third on at 2000 bucks put 100k miles on it. then i bought another and
the same started to happen so i traded it in.
Would LOVE to see a Skyline R32-34 buyers guide from you!
Ответитьbuyers guide:
Step 1: Buy one, do whatever it takes
Step 2: See above
-Owner of a black 05 ap2. Based on slight differences and/or refinements I'd say I like the ap2s exterior styling over the ap1. I haven't driven a newer model with drive by wire so I can't compare the 06+.
-If you own a garage your top will last (138,000 current miles, original top, 2nd owner).
-Aftermarket street clutches might give you "clutch buzz" in reverse or while decelerating like mine did. An ACT flywheel, pressure plate, and oem clutch disk work and sound smooth, no buzzing or rattle. I had a competition clutch street setup (sprung disk) and I had to remove it as I couldn't stand the extra noises
-Check the screws on each soft top latch to ensure they're not loosening up. Mine were very loose when I checked them around 100,000 miles. I did drop the top a lot up until this point so maybe that contributed
-My headlights still work perfectly (knock on wood). These factory HIDs are definitely more reliable than any halogen or led setup.
I will say to anyone with an s2000, go get yourself a spoiler, like the factory trunk spoiler that gives it an aggressive, but subtle look. And if you don't know, there's recesses on the bottom side of the trunk lid indicating where you would drill a hole for this spoiler so you're not going in guessing. Take your time though making the holes (start small, then work up to whatever size you need), making sure not to make them too large or not drilling a perfect circle.
hows 2nd gear?
ОтветитьI own a Suzuka Blue s2k im 400 pound black man bruh.
ОтветитьHad an ap1 and a ap2. Still have my ap2. People are foolish and think the Ap1's extra 600 rpm make a diff. The ap1 stops making power before it hits its redline. The ap1 has a miserable torque curve and weak retainers that can crack and also cause valve float. My ap2 has a much better and useable torque curve. It has a built head so I can rev to 12k rpm so who gives sh*t about an 8800 rpm. My ap2 retainers won't crack, I have no valve float, I have more torque, more modern looking headlights/front bumper. I have traction control for when I want it (rainy days), I have lower miles, and the ap2 is more refined than the ap1.
ОтветитьThe only problem with the S2000? They stopped making them.
ОтветитьI have a 03 Ap1. But with full exterior swap ap2. Best of both.
ОтветитьWhere would the best place to buy one?
ОтветитьFrom time to time I feel like selling my s2k and every time I realize how much I’d regret letting it go
ОтветитьWhat no Rio yellow :)?
ОтветитьThat new front bumper looks terrible. Or atrocious I guess is the better word.
Ответитьi have a laguns blue pearl s2k 😊😊
ОтветитьI have S2000 2003 Ap1.80k miles
Ответитьlol oil consumption. my 2.4l stroked s2000 eats a liter per 1000 km of 5w50 - yum!
ОтветитьI want one but I hope by the time im able to get one theyre not 30k or sum shi
ОтветитьAp2 has a lot better handling
ОтветитьThey're bottom dollar now lmao 😂
Ответитьjust last week i bought a AP1 with 157k miles drive it from Texas to New York. definitely passed the reliability test.
ОтветитьI brought an S2000 in 2002 (AP1) and only have 55,000 on it. There is no car like this. I’m waiting for the 2025 S2000 to come out if it does happen. I’ll be waiting to buy one to match my 2002 S2000.
ОтветитьThe ticking could also be from an improper oil filter as the OEM oil filter has a pressure relief valve for VTEC operation. I experienced this in my AP2 and the 'problem' went away immediately with the proper filter 🤘
ОтветитьCoke White 🤫
ОтветитьThanks
ОтветитьI'm debating to trade my 2018 FK8 for a 2007 S2K lol.
