Honda S2000 AP1 Review! // THE MORE EXPENSIVE MIATA IS WELL WORTH IT!

First comment hehe. Bought my first Ap1 today

I guess my s2k is the fastest car I drove. But doesn't feel that fast because doesn't have too much torque. I did 0-60 in 5.9 that is super good for a 2.0l N/A. On twisty roads or track feels impressive tho

I'm seeing a lot of whining about the rising price of S2K's. Look at it this way, how much would you expect to pay today for a new car with the same performance and driving attributes? Of course, as everyone knows, no one has ever, before or since, made anything like it. Honda wasn't trying to out perform a 6 cylinder, turbo charged Porsche, or provide stylish comfort and a super sound system. They simply designed a well performing car that was incredibly satisfying to drive. On top of that, they are super reliable and easy to work on. Even a backyard mechanic like myself can change the plugs in 45 minutes. So yes, low mileage S2K's in unmodified condition are valuable.

I had 2 Corvettes including a 1966 427/425 and my S2000 is more fun to drive. It makes going to the grocery store fun.

Do not mention my car in the same sentence with a Miata, no comparison!!!

Good video! Very accurate description of what these cars are like. I have an '06 with 55k miles on it. Bone stock and every time I get behind the wheel I cant stop grinning. I consider selling it and then I drive it and change my mind. These cars are a legend.

I have the same 00 s2k w/33k miles all orig. It's so much fun. It's my golf course/cottage/weekends commuter car in the summer months. The AP2 was released in 2004-2009. Some of the back roads we have up in Ontario Canada are perfect for this car. Sticky tires are a must.
