Team USA loosed that freaking Gold Medal because of Simone!!!!!!

When grace got mad with her face with Simone because she thought was going for gold not silver !!!!

When grace got off that uneven Bar she mad with Simone you can see her face !!!!

If suni Lee wasn’t nervous she would help them win that gold but got nervous and scared!!!

Grace is soo freaking nervous that she making mistakes!! But she try her best too she not perfect!!!!

Because off Simone quit the Olympic USA didn’t won that Gold!!!!

If she love them she would never compete in competition!!!! She knew her mental problems!!!!

Simone will be back in Paris 2024

If Simone had pulled out earlier, with Jade Carey who is a specialist and gold medalist in vault and floor, USA would have won Gold. It is that crazy... Russia deserves it -- I hate the country but the girls deserve something for years of torment.

At this date I admire more and more Simone Biles, because she had the courage to accept something wrong happened to her, hey! It's not easy to do that, and she through that, and stay there with the team support them, was amazing she did that. Then, the girls, the team, put all they strong body and begin to working their mind to win any place, just I love this girls. Congratulations for the silver medals.

First thought: Knowing now what we didn't know then about everything Simone was going through at the time, it's a miracle she didn't break her neck. Second thought: Jordan Chiles is a Rock Star!

Suni Lee really was the star and highlight of the team at Tokyo. Her amazing scores helped the team tremendously!

I really hope she'll be able to go to Paris. She's so great at what she do! It's so unfortunate she has kidney issues. I'm rooting for her all the way!

People say Simone was so 'brave' and wise to make the choice to withdraw. If she'd broken a leg there wouldn't be a discussion about her withdrawing and this is the same level of severity. We need to learn to treat these things with the same respect and not downgrade big mental injuries as things that are a "choice" to overcome; doing so is unfair to the gymnasts. You wouldn't ask her to go out there with a broken leg.

It’s so annoying that they played a highlight reel of all of her mistakes…like she’s just been consistently not herself and let’s highlight it all. How did they not stop and consider…yo…is she okay?

People honestly don’t realize, the USA got second in qualifications WITH Simone.

Been a loooong road back…and as memorable as any…

Watching this again after Paris and really it was so unfortunate. I mean so incredible for the Russian girls, they hadn't gotten a team gold in quite a while.

But for the U.S. its unfortunate that they didn't have a chance to use an alternate (in general i think the alternate system in gymnastics is wack). With Simone's highly downgraded vault and the overall lower difficulty with Grace on beam, and Suni on floor, it was already going to be hard to catch up on points.

That being said, Jordan doing excellent on the two events she wasn't supposed to compete; same with Suni on floor, it was truly incredible. I've seen amazing teams fall to pieces for a lot less than what happened here. And it's so so unfortunate and ironic that Jordan had so many mistakes on floor because its one of her highlight events!

Even though I know people did, really, nobody could blame them for what happened. Mistakes are expected. Teams cushion those mistakes with high difficulty, that the U.S. no longer had on their key events. And with a team of only 4, they had even less chances to make up those points.

But I'm so glad all the girls could come back and prove that A) this was a fluke and B) they could get even BETTER than this, and this one moment wasn't their only chance or their peak.

Simone's voice breaking as she told them "I'll be fine, this is your first one, go out and kill it" breaks my heart

The disrespect to not show graces floor

Simone was clearly not enjoying herself. The pressure of “GOAT” was too much. She says she had the “twisties” but she was actually just crumbling under pressure. She excelled in 2024, but just say the pressure got to you. No need to lie.

It’s October 2024 and I’m watching all of this back. I wish the world wouldn’t be so quick to give up on someone and condemn them when we have no clue what’s going on. The truth is what these women do every day is extremely dangerous and unless all cylinders are firing, it’s wholly unsafe and literally foolish. Simone had the maturity to know she’d have been a danger to her teammates in the scores, and a danger to herself physically, and that decision had so many around the world turning their backs on her. I’m really happy this is documented and that she had the health and strength and drive to come back another cycle later to shove it in the faces of all those who spit on her name. Well done ma’am. Proud to be a fan 🇺🇸
