Wood stain experiment on oak - Woodturning

Hello folks! In this video I will be making a small hollow form on the woodturning lathe then experimenting with Chestnut's spirit stain.

The end result was a little subtler then I had hoped for but completely down to me not knowing when to just leave it alone, was one light sanding and a polish too many. Every day is a school day!
Not only that, I had also already filmed and edited up to that point so you're getting the video anyway! :)
