Something I noticed in your video is that you said we have to hold the positions for a very long time to see the return. I read this book a few months ago and if I remember it correctly I think the author recommended holding the positions for at least 3 years. Am I correct? And do you agree with my statement? I agree with the idea that when you buy a stock is almost more important than what stock it is to a large degree, I like to check the "big dippers" list of stocks that dropped the most in the market that day and if it's a decent company with alot of fud going on (could be bad news, earnings ect) I will buy in, I've had good results doing that even with companies that I'm not that familiar with...

I read about the magic formula and it is just that - a formula. It does not view stocks as small portions of businesses. If you like applying formulas that's fine but Warren Buffett likes to analyze businesses as a whole both qualitatively and quantitatively and is looking for an outstanding business rather than a statistical pattern
