Went there earlier this year. It was stunning.
ОтветитьJohn the Baptist? No.
ОтветитьMinecraft ahhh building's
ОтветитьWash it all away the mentality the no good people keeping the good ones for rebuild. To actually have real artistic landscape no man made shite made by angels no fukin bull shit fukin giants will return
ОтветитьWe need floods so extreme
ОтветитьFukin dead dull dappy fat bastards is all you get in my country
ОтветитьNo true artist live were i come from
ОтветитьAll dead and dull people so shite
ОтветитьWell my brain is full of colour so i obv come from a world like that. Not this false sense of reality countries
ОтветитьC.E.? I'm out...😢
ОтветитьPlease take the trouble to get your history right!
ОтветитьWell presented! Thank you.
ОтветитьCE? They used DC current. Or maybe it was ACE.
ОтветитьJohn the Baptist was never in Ephesus, he never left Israel. Maybe you mean Paul the Apostle? Paul visited Turkey for ministry work many times.
ОтветитьUnrealistic reconstruction.
ОтветитьAll this magnificent beauty thousands of years ago, and look at what architects come up with these days.
ОтветитьSorry. Your distinguished visitors did not include John the Baptist. It was the apostle Paul.
ОтветитьBC stands for Before Christ. A.D. Ano Domini. Don't use BCE and CE crap.
ОтветитьIt’s heartbreaking how much history has been lost to war. The Temple of Artemis must have been a literal wonder to behold.
ОтветитьAwnings would be everywhere.
ОтветитьI was there just yesterday. A fascinating ancient city. You still feel like you can hear the voices of the ancient Romans in its streets. We welcome everyone who is curious to this fascinating city. In the Selçuk district of Turkey.
ОтветитьAmzing work you put in to your documentary my friend! Realy realy nice!
Ответитьme and my mom are origional dutch, we immigrated to Spain, but we are thinking of moving to Turkey, why? we went there 30 times since 1995, we bin to Epesus 2 time, and many other Ancient world sites, Spain doesnt have that Ancient world history, like Turkey has, we are planning to move to Marmaris Turkey, from there its a 5 hour boat trip to greace, Rhodos, Krete etc, so basicly its a 2 for one move, you have Turkey , and Greece right in front of youre door.
ОтветитьThat was incredible. Thanks!
ОтветитьThank you for your work on this video splendid indeed man .. I love ancient history and not so ancient.. its all good
ОтветитьThe Apostle PAUL…. 😂🤦♂️😂🤦♂️
ОтветитьWhy does the too-fast commentary in this video sound like a 1950's gangster movie?
ОтветитьJohn the Baptist didn't go to Ephesus, The Apostle John did though And so did the Apostle Paul.
ОтветитьCE?
ОтветитьWhat a great city it was once was. The remnants are still great in spite an unfortunate earthquake, which destroyed this marvelous city
ОтветитьNOT John the Baptist, who never left Israel.
John the Theologian lived in Ephesus, as well as the Mother of God, Mary.
Check your sources, Historian.
Wait. It only took them 3yrs to build that gymnasium? That’s insane
ОтветитьVery Good!... #80 {5-14-2024}
ОтветитьI think you mean The Apostle John who is said to have lived there with Mary the mother of Christ.
ОтветитьIt seems Artemis had not enough power to prevent the destruction from happening. So a goodness have themselves destroyed can’t be a god, so the spirit that had dwelled in the statue left her habitation and moved on to something else somewhere to start the deceiving again. What spirit can this only be? A very old person called Satan!
ОтветитьThank you Seljuks for destroying the city…thank you Ottomans for burying the city, another great Christian city lost…..hmmm.
ОтветитьInteresting thank you
ОтветитьIt is a great opportunity for augmented reality. See the city as it was while walking through it.
ОтветитьCroesus is pronounced kree-sus.
ОтветитьWonderful video. The best…you explained what was being shown. Thanks!
ОтветитьThe apostle John made it to Ephesus. Not John the baptist!
ОтветитьBeen there and it is gorgeous. Imagine marble sidewalks...so easy to keep clean. Temples 🛕 everywhere. A lot is still not unearthed. The piping was brilliant 👏.The Temple of Artemis was huge but only a boring column is left.
ОтветитьI think they should fully rebuild the city for showing a fully realized Roman city.
ОтветитьVery hard to picture Ephesus when you are there, even with a guide. Would have loved to have this video available before we visited
ОтветитьThere is no evidence John the Baptist ever went to Ephesus. The Apostle Paul, but no, not John the Baptist.
ОтветитьJohn the Baptist? I think you’ve got your Johns crossed. John the Apostle, yes. John the Baptist, no.
ОтветитьI have walked here, so emotional, the hairs on my neck stood up.
ОтветитьBeautiful Greek city.
