Here is short video of the Regal XL magazine and the problem I encountered recently. Some pellets would not load properly into magazine and just fell right through. Apparently, there is a rubber o-ring fitted around the magazine that holds the pellet firmly into the magazine while loading. Unfortunately, the o-ring broke and I am not quite sure how that happened. It may have been a handling issue on my part or just that the rubber material can wear over time.
In either case, I was a little disappointed that only after a year of use the item failed. However, Daystate does have a 3 year warranty on parts and I was able to get the magazine repaired through their authorized repair center quickly and free of any charges.
I was never a fan of plastic pellet magazines offered by other airgun brands but I have now learned to appreciate them and their reliability.
Now I can go back and enjoy my Regal XL again. Just be aware of that rubber o-ring.
