Makeup I Literally DON'T USE! *Wasted Money*

LIQUID EYESHADOW ... they suck ya in with the glitter and the shine, but I hate how it looks, hate waiting for it to dry and ultimately just don’t like using it.

I like how she shows that she's fallible and falls for gimmicks or hype

Omg I LOOOOOVE the MAC Studio fix liquid foundation lol. It is the only brand that has truly matched my skin tone. But I will say it isn’t super full coverage but I didn’t mind thay

I’ve done this with highlighters I bought and then didn’t use as highlighters. But, they do work as eyeshadows, so that might help you get some use out of them for your money

I own the Nikki x beauty bay palette and I like both the mattes and the shimmers! I don’t experience them flaking or falling the way you described. I wonder too if there are discrepancies between batches!

2 quick thoughts: 1) I love you and your channel. At first I thought you were 16. Now I get that you’re a full fledged adult. You have a very young face! 2) I simply love that Anastasia glitter oil spray! I’m a mega nerd with dry skin that drinks up this oil very happily, leaving me with a surprising glisten some do not expect from a geek, making it a fun move — in a “look but don’t touch” pandemic.

So you made me stop my work and take out my NikkieTutorials palette just to confirm the situation from my part lol. I remember there was something that just wouldn’t convince me about the shimmers but I forgot what it was. Mine are creamy and buttery to the point they feel as cream shadows. They do flake a tiny bit but with an accurate application I was able to avoid that. Then I remembered that the part I don’t like is the ‘glitteryness’ of the shimmers 😅

The Violet Voss rainbow palette. I bought it bc it swatched so pretty in the store, but I took it home and tried actually using it. Yes it’s shimmery but it just..blended weird? I almost cried at work because of how embarrassed I was to look so bad with it on.

The pink highlighter looks like it would be beautiful as eyeshadow.

I never ever use my Nikki tutorials x beauty bay pallet! I've literally never used it! The shadows are so dry and chalky. I bought into the hype, but it's a weird color story, and hate the shimmers wich is why I buy most pallets.

I recently got rid of a bunch of mascaras that I just don’t like. Life is too short to hold on to makeup that you don’t like and never reach for. Especially when you already have a faithful favorite.

Personally I like the shimmers in nikkies pallet, but I use them as topper shimmers. I think that they don’t build up great and are quite chunky so I just use them as toppers.

For me it's the 24 hour brow setter from benefit and brow glue from nyx. I want to use them so bad but every time I do it's a huge project. My brows don't want to stay in place and I end up using too much product and then crusty brows.

7months later watching this and yes my beautybay palette with nikkietutorials yes the glitters are chunky lol

On regards to the beauty creations eye primers... I used a tiny dot and it used to break down on me... BUT I used a tad more and man.... It works beautifully on me. The color placed on top stayed put, it didn't broke down and by the end of the day my eye looked amazing. It definetively has a learning curve but it is a very good primer. If you don't like it you can try the KRYOLAN eye shadow primer... That is THE Best primer I've ever used!

I've been tempted into buying 5 Urban Decay palettes but I have 1 expensive palettes and am trying to convince myself that the pinks, reds, purples are in the Morphe palette. And the Cherry, Ultraviolet, Cyber, Wild West, and Robin Eisenberg will not have any unique colors.
