Will they come with built in air jet cooling?
ОтветитьIf only we can connect it to a screen and use it as a windows or linux PC. the specs are nice and hopefully the phones will have good cooling performance. waiting your review for the real life performance.
ОтветитьThey need a seriously good marketing campaign.....they can knock out Snapdragon all day....but no recognition will put it in the boneyard quick.....they need either Samsung or Google....
ОтветитьWe want speed test g😢
ОтветитьAny time i hear these mind blowing transistor counts and on mobile no less, i remember AMD in the 2010s had Bulldozer with 2B (actually 1.2 billion transistors) and how badly it performed and was called fat. 😂
ОтветитьI would love to see how fast apps can open on a phone fully utilizing this chip even if it needt to be rooted to achieve it.
-LPDDR5T at 9600Mbps
-UFS 4.0 with MCQ always active
-All 8 cores running static at the advertised speed
-If the 3 Cortex X4 can be pushed a bit to 3.0 Ghz would be even more interesting
Immortalis G720 MC12 Actually have 24Cores GPU Inside of MC12
MC is Multi Cluster and its also Clock @ 1.3Ghz Thats why Immortalis G720 is able to beat Adreno GPU Found in 8Gen3
MediaTek Dimensity 9300 on a heat pipe sync and fan with dynamic overclock and android 14 on a single board computer with micro sd support would sell like hot cakes for the emulation and android gaming crowd.
ОтветитьThe Mediatek dimensity 9300 is a beast. That 8-core CPU and Immortalis-G720 GPU combo is a powerhouse. Can't wait to experience the next level of mobile performance.
ОтветитьHow about the Mediatek for TVs? Will we finally get 4 HDMI 2.1 ports in 2024?
ОтветитьYes another chip dump era coming guys. Prepare your wallet
ОтветитьLooking forward to ARM coming to Desktop.
ОтветитьMediatek and Qualcomm areno.1 go to consumer ARM SoCs outside Apple ecosystem. Thx 4 the review Gary!
ОтветитьDamn! If the M3 Max is this good, then imagine the insane M3 Ultra 🤯
ОтветитьBro... thermals is going to be crazy for longterm gaming
ОтветитьOnce-up-on-a time
Mighty 3nm A17 pro & 4Np 8Gen 3 where taking dinner @ china local time 19
Suddenly both killed😅
Dimensity 9300❤
Gary could you do a video explaining Tensor's AI vs AI the Snapdragon GEN 3 will have please ?
ОтветитьMediatek is the future ❤✌
ОтветитьI have they used latest architecture in affordable SOCs.
Imagine A 6+ Gen 3 having X4 + 3 A720 + 2 A520 TSMC N4. But it won't.
Performance should be very good, but i sounds like it need a lot of Power 😐
ОтветитьThe new Dimensity 9300 chipset seems to be the potential player in the aspect of the smartphone operations that tends to create higher processing speed for the multitasking
Ответитьwould be interesting to see how they are managing thermals on this monster of a chip!
ОтветитьNow how fast will this overheat? I'm not even asking whether it will overheat because it definitely will and a lot
ОтветитьDimensity 9300 comes with an upgraded APU 790, boasting double the integer and floating-point capabilities.
ОтветитьI'm really interested to see Dimensity and Exynos coming close to snapdragon with their own methods, the more diverse competition is, the better is the chance of innovation
I don't hate any soc, just seeing them Chase numbers that don't translate to real world use is just plain stupid
I want Mediatek and Samsung making their soc so good we don't have to worry about bionic vs snapdragon
Competition makes us all win <3
ОтветитьI'm excited to see those astonishing new major upgrade in CPU processing speed and efficiency. Now that it appears to have more competitors out in the CPU market it will drive up competition drastically. 😎💯💪🏾👍🏾
ОтветитьDo people need this performance?
I think that these numbers for bragging rights.
Mobile phones do everything that most people need.
I wish there were more Mediatek devices out here in West.
ОтветитьStick it into the Chromebook Tablet!
ОтветитьSaw the Mediatek HelioX30 flopped hard af..
Been glad that Mediatek is regaining their flagship spotlight since their humiliation on Helio-X series...
MediaTek came a long way of mistakes and it now improved itself to finally become the true rival of Qualcomm Overthrowing Exynos
It is interesting Intel just added a 3rd Tier, the Low Power Efficiency CPU Cores in the SOC Tile. While MediaTek removed the 3rd Tier of Efficiency Cores. Are we seeing the end to big.LITTLE? Qualcomm have an ALL Performance Core where all Cores are Big Cores with the Snapdragon X Elite.
ОтветитьShould awsome for a gaming device
ОтветитьIs there any point to all of this constant upgrading? Phones are already way over spec'd for what they are... they're just phones. When people want to do some seriously heavy computing they'd use a real machine built appropriately, wouldn't they? Surely most people just use phones to watch videos, play music, browse the web etc? Let's face it, who can do anything serious on a 6" phone screen?
ОтветитьThis chip in a steamdeck like formfactor with actuve cooling would be incredible!
ОтветитьFinally real competition
ОтветитьMore transistors than apples m2 chip … wow. This thing is gonna be large for a smartphone chip and EXPENSIVE!
ОтветитьThey did this back in the day on a Vivo phone (eight A57 cores), I can't remember the model. While performance was good, the screen on time was less than 2 hours, and unfortunately that phone got no updates to fix the constant issues (I believe it also used the performance governor, so at max clock all the time) But plugged in, sure, it was fast! Also, this was also back in the 28nm days, so they're dealing with WAY MORE ADVANCED lithography now.
Either way, looking forward to seeing 3rd party numbers.
Great job on covering this chip so early
ОтветитьJust for smartphones?
ОтветитьWhoa!! These are whopping numbers! Can't wait to get my hands on it! 🙌👌
ОтветитьI have a question is the NPU here faster than Tensor G3 on AI related stuff?
ОтветитьNice to see soc for android phones stepping up their game, finally catching up to apples soc.
ОтветитьI think its such a huge misconception that the more powerful the more power draw. Not necessarily. The more powerful a core or an overall chip the more power you can potentially push through the chip before seeing diminishing returns in performance, but also the more powerful it is the better it performs at similar or less power than its predecessor. I'm all for downclocked beast chipsets bc I will get the best of both performance and power efficiency.
Ответить4 ultra large cores? This sounds like a gaming beast. Gonna be hot 😬
Ответитьthis cpu sucks dude
ОтветитьAwesome specs
ОтветитьThey're taking the same route of Dimensity 8100 . Dimensity 8100 was built in the same way 4 A78 cores and 4 A55 cores and it was actually quite impressive although it lacked a very strong GPU . But the question is A78 cores are not as large as X4 cores ( may be it's half of the size of X4 cores) . It would be interesting to see how they handle the thermals.
ОтветитьIf you can't beat them, do something completely crazy out of left field xD
Ответить
