There is no perfect Australian accent. That's a fact. Australian is a ever changing country and so is the accent. In the cities it has changed dramatically. The Aussie accent everyone knows is now mainly in country area's.
In Sydney for example in western Sydney it's completely different to the inner city. Bankstown accent is way different to Minto. Cronulla is different to Mt Druitt.
I always hear this Aussie accent as if it's 1 accent when that's completely untrue. Like any country there are many differences

As an Australian I can assure the world that we don’t all talk through our noses like that...she did what’s referred to as the ‘broad’ Aussie accent...there are 3 different accents; ‘broad’ (nasal and sounds uneducated, even though that may actually not be the case, it usually depends on where you grew up and/or your socio-economic background), ‘general’ (not as harsh as the broad), and ‘cultivated’ (more British sounding; think of Aussie actors Cate Blanchett or Geoffrey Rush). Soirse did the cliche (worst) Aussie accent.
