Why does it sound like everyone has a lisp
ОтветитьPop is Pop Real Music is Real Music
ОтветитьReal Music created by the likes of Morrissey and The Smiths Pop should have and still should be separated from Real Music programmes
ОтветитьPode passar o tempo não consigo controlar a emoção desse conjunto. Amo vocês que músicas lindosssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss.
Ответить12/03/1916
ОтветитьSlightly sad to admit that I love listening to this man bloviate and bitch about things. It's soothing somehow.
ОтветитьA load of baloney.
ОтветитьTown and Country club was such a great place in the late 80's. Quick one next door in the pub, wonder into the club, check out the unknown band. Great days.
Ответитьmick jagger well and truly speared at the end there by the lady with the gorgeous Scots accent.
ОтветитьYou see that kids? Pop music has ALWAYS been vapid and unimaginative.
ОтветитьWhat... the fuck... was Jagger... 'doing'?
Ответитьhe seems real smart when you are 14, since then he just seems silly and fay
ОтветитьMorrissey got his wish, and now we have Jools Hootenanny.
The fucking prick
Then came Jools Holland. Thank god!
Ответитьeverything is Political
Ответитьwhat was the name of this programme
ОтветитьAnd after this things got exponentially worse.
ОтветитьI can’t hate Moz. He’s always felt disconnected from others and their actions to the point where his utter disgust for humanity can not be hidden anymore. Loneliness is the cause for how he comes off lately. He’s older he doesn’t have much to lose now when he expresses his hate in interviews and such. One of the most disconnected humans from humanity. He’s not a figure to hate but a figure to study and try to understand.
ОтветитьJagger, you vulgar little turd... The reaper is catching you up.
ОтветитьThe only intelligent musician in the world
ОтветитьFair play to the interviewer at the end with Jagger. She cut right through the bullshit and owned him on his political/charitable affectations.
ОтветитьIf they thought music was trash and corporate in 1987 they should see the drivel today.
Ответитьsome of the best and worst most obscure artists have been on totp...so not entirely true.
ОтветитьSays the man who ripped his shirt open with Marry Me written on his chest on Top Of The Pops
ОтветитьI hate banter
Ответитьmorrissey in interviews reminds me of me at therapy
ОтветитьMichael Stipe stated that America in 1987 was Disneyland
but then again he also said that REM were "one of the first bands with 'letters in their name'"
I find it hilarious that he is wearing a Smiths tshirt.
ОтветитьPop music is designed for those who don't need, want or like to think.
ОтветитьHaha she took Mick Jagger to the fucking cleaners at the end there
ОтветитьThe only person who could wear his own tee shirt and make it look cool
ОтветитьNice one Muriel - God forbid these people are not feted just for existing- Julian Temple in particular comes out of this as a really nasty piece of entitlement.
ОтветитьChrist Jagger makes me cringe.
ОтветитьHis chin
ОтветитьI hate Cliff Richard. Good old Muriel Gray at the end having a dig at the hypocrisy of multi-millionaire music artists trying to tell people were their money should be spent to help the latest trendy cause
ОтветитьMuriel gray rocks!!!!!!
ОтветитьAmazing, so few comments on this subject. TOTP is absolutely revolting! I always loved how The Cure, always did their best to mock TOTP!
ОтветитьWhat he used to say passion for animals life's and his view on covid as he very correctly calls it
ОтветитьIt was actually live performance. I thought TOTP was always canned music.
ОтветитьI agree with him. It is and was, a cavalcade of plasticity.....
ОтветитьI'd like him to explain what the front cover of Kill Uncle was all about.
Ответитьhe basically wanted TOTP to be The old grey whistle test. Thanks for that, Morrissey.
Ответить!
ОтветитьMorrissey is a very perceptive guy and an imaginative creative artist, but I think he misses a point here. Popular music in its broadest sense covers a wide spectrum, from light hearted, feelgood party and dance tunes to deep, thought provoking soundtracks to the meaning of life and the state of the world, and there is a time and place for all of it. Rather than criticise shows like TOTP which are primarily a showcase designed for the former category, he should be advocating alternative platforms like my old favourite OGWT with artistic analysis from people like Whispering Bob, or an updated version of it, to showcase the “serious” creative side of population music like that of The Smiths.
Ответить"to me, it's political. i see it as totally political. it's like deliberately not reflecting the times" yep
ОтветитьThe Shits
ОтветитьHahahaha
Mick, put your fucking money where your mouth is. That was embarrassing.
Boring miserable bastard
