Molto bello.Che orchestra è?

This is exquisite. ....a highly   emotionally charged performance.....very " warm"  crystal clear playing..........I like it.  We  now have four of them from Russia and  Ukrainia   Trifanov,   Kissin  ( my all time favourite ) ,, Gavrylyuk, another favourite,  and now Melnikov  ! ........They're all coming from the east, at the moment ! .....but give that genius, Michael Andreas a few more years, and he will join the ranks of piano greats as well !  It is exciting to hear so much new and brilliant talent....and so many novel interpretations !

Melnikov is gift. He ranks among the most musical, creative ,intelligent, sensitive and versatile pianists around, regardless of age. For some time now he has been - together with Volodos - the most impressive among all Russian pianists active today, in my opinion. This is as good as any and better than most. Listen, though, to Anderszewsky, too, it is also in a class of its own.
