What would cause a warm echo pb 755st blower did
ОтветитьReally good info, Thanks. !!!
ОтветитьWhat a load of nonsense. What if your engine has points and condenser ignition and the condenser is bad or your points are dirty or not gapped correctly? Your coil could be just fine and still no spark if that is the case. That Briggs he showed us has points and condenser ignition. Very misleading and could cause lots of people grief if they listen to this dummy.
ОтветитьThank you so much sir I really appreciate you
ОтветитьAwesome thanks for video. 👍
ОтветитьHola great video Sir! Simple to test! 👍👍
ОтветитьT-Bone, I really like this method.
ОтветитьHappy days, thanks, you sorted out my problem!
ОтветитьI have an old Solo (1975) chainsaw. It has points and no spark. I checked it out and the coil seems to be grounding out the points. With the coil mounted I have continuity on both sides of the points with the points open. I isolated the switch and it's working. I think the coil is shorted to ground, because when I remove the coil and then check the points they work fine and then put it on again, the points are grounded again. Am I missing something, or is my coil bad?
ОтветитьI’m subscribed to a lot of small engine channels and I’ve watched a lot of videos on this subject. Yours is the clearest, simplest and most straightforward instruction I’ve seen. Well done! This also goes for several other subjects - clear, simple and easy to understand. Thanks! 👍🔧
ОтветитьGreat vid. Like the screw driver trick. I rarely have a new spark plug laying around. Those are as needed for me.
ОтветитьFantastic. Straight to the point, so helpfull thank you
ОтветитьThank you very much. You have saved me over $600.00 today.

ОтветитьGreat info T-Bone
I like your absolute simplicity and honesty!!!
The presence or absence of spark is not always 100% for diagnosis ...example, a coil may be good enough to produce spark when cold but when engine heats up and coil heats up it may not. I saw this recently on a mower. Just seeing the spark on a cold coil is not always conclusive.
ОтветитьAwesome the way you explain it for beginners like me. Thank You
ОтветитьBest advice and tips on coils. Helped me a ton. Now of to test mine
Ответить👍
ОтветитьGreat tips T--bone!!
ОтветитьSir. you only show as how to quick diagnose coil with no spark at all. Please show as how to diagnose coil with weak or bad spark..
ОтветитьI like you small engine hacks.
ОтветитьThank You’ll 😊
ОтветитьLove the simple tricks and tips especially diagnosis of a bad coil.
ОтветитьExcellent video on easy testing but do not throw out that coil yet especially if it has a spark plug boot like the Honda one in the video or those that are metal shielded because they have a built in resistor that may fail. I believe these style spark plug boots are supposed to have 5K ohms resistance. On three cases over 9 years we have found them to have 10K+ ohms resistance which created the no spark issue. A simple spark plug boot replacement and away we go, great spark at a cheap part cost vs replacing the entire coil.
Ответитьthats some great advice there n new here from jack
ОтветитьHow many hours before I need to adjust the rockers on my generator (Troy build 5000 watts)? Thanks 🙏
ОтветитьI find a multi meter is useless on a modern coil. It can prove it's bad but can't prove it's good.
ОтветитьGreat vid
ОтветитьEasy as that… Show me the money! Great tips at the end too 😁👍
ОтветитьTooooo easy 🤣🤣🤣, another great tip for diagnosing brother.
ОтветитьWell done T-bone!
ОтветитьGreat tip T-Bone, excellent when you put these videos out 👍
ОтветитьGreat video. I was just sitting here watching “Young Riders” and the head guys name is T-Bone lol.
ОтветитьPreach T-Bone.... yall say it with me... "To Easy "
ОтветитьGreat tip.
I ran into an engine, 8.75 series briggs on a toro timemaster, with such a blown head gasket, the oil got around the head bolts, and the head, and the gasket, it isolated the head from the block, and took the ground away, the spark plug would spark against the block, but not screwed into the head, a real head scratcher for sure.
Good advice!
Ответить👍👍👍Thanks Tbone
ОтветитьIf your a redneck you can stick your finger in the plug wire.💥💥💥
