Wooden blocks lined with paper won't grip a smooth barrel. Who knew.
Ответитьis that bolt action rifle from dead rails-
ОтветитьCut a hatch pattern in the blocks around the barrel
ОтветитьThanks for sharing. 😉👌🏻
Ответитьthose jigs for tightening the barrel are simple yet genious
ОтветитьWouldn't taking a torch to a barrel weaken it?? My papa told me never get your barrel hot
ОтветитьI know moisture is the killer with steel parts. What if you soaked your oak blocks before barrel removal? Wood would swell and hold tighter.
Ответитьthats great good job
ОтветитьYour able to notice the difference between when the barrel was slipping to when it actually gripped and you managed to separate the reservoir
ОтветитьGood job!😊
ОтветитьNext week: how to reactivate a inert grenade
ОтветитьA good watch 👏👏🇬🇧
ОтветитьOne dude shooting middle fingers. Man to the left shooting pencil tips.
ОтветитьThat barrel coming off gave me such a dopamine high
ОтветитьKroil is an amazing product.
ОтветитьThat is joke deactivation. In the UK, deactivation is regulated by the government. Only proof houses can do it and they are destructive. The bolt assembly and firing pin are usually cut at an angle and completely destroyed. Then, the barrel is plugged with a steel rod.
Good luck coming back from that.
That voice tone is depressing
ОтветитьI need to hear you say, "Bueller, Beuller.." one time!😂
ОтветитьDon't blame the gun while it's you who clearly miss bullseye
ОтветитьThe rifle when someone goes to deactivate it:
Low, Animatronic Voice
”I will not be deactivated.”
me with the 350mm gun in my back yard
ОтветитьSubscription activated!
ОтветитьLead in the barrel and everything was left alone to " DEACTIVATE " a rifle ! NOPE ! First off, they don't deactivate a rifle that old. Anybody can buy one without problems. I believe HE did this for a video, He was planning to rebarrel or something like re chamber it .
ОтветитьI'm going to have to fine you for miss use of a tool. Using a pipe wrench improperly is $3 fine. We will take it out of your commission. But HEY it works. Nice job.
ОтветитьBro you are amazing for restoring this awesome piece of history. 👍
ОтветитьNot reactivated, replaced
ОтветитьI made this clamp, Love it. Comment and a subscribe just for that. Well Done
ОтветитьWhat a beautiful old Danish M. 1889.
My grandpa was in the Danish resistance during WWII, and he had one hidden on his hayloft on the farm. We didn't know that until right before he passed away.
He told my grandma, that he had hidden a R.A.F. cradle dropped over Denmark by parachute during the war, and there was weapons and ammo in it + there were a oil covered wax rifle holster, with an old Danish rifle in it, laying right next to the cradle.
We searched after the cradle and the rifle on the loft, and we found them hidden under a very old stack of hay. The cradle were full of pistols, revolvers and a lot of ammo + some other stuff, like a couple of military rations, maps, matches, tea and coffee, and American cigarettes.
The rifle were as told, right next to the cradle, and it was a Krag-Jørgensen M. 1889, fully functional, and in great condition, because it had been protected by the oiled wax holster.
Unfortunately we're not allowed to keep things like that here, our weapon laws are very restrictive, so when my grandma called the authorities, they came out and removed all the weapons and the ammo, and she was told it would be send to destruction - what a shame. She did get to keep the rest of the content in the cradle though.
Out of curiosity: How does one adjust headspace? or more specifically, on this weapon?
Like, do you just thread the barrel in more or less?
thousands of ww1 rifles, bayonets,.... were all just buried or destroyed, it seemed like nobody was considdering just stocking these for some reason, it honestly makes me pissed given how useless the gesture actually was
Ответить3D printing technology is changing everything regarding firearms. In the coming years this tech will absolutely explode and people will be able to print a weapon of their choice in their own home.
ОтветитьMate ... put some inflection in your voice! You sound like a mortician ...
ОтветитьNice job!
ОтветитьGod's work.
ОтветитьNext video can you reactive a p08 luger?
ОтветитьIt would be a different story entirely if it was "Deactivated" to a modern standard i.e. butchered and welded.
ОтветитьI like the way the color of the new barrel matches the barrel bands.
ОтветитьWow! You just opened up a whole world too me. Thank you for this great video, I leaned a ton.
Ответить2012 Minecraft guns mod subplot
ОтветитьNext do a deactivating a reactivated deactivated rifle
ОтветитьDoing the Lords Work. Reactivate them all.
ОтветитьWhenever you fire a new or restored rifle, it is best to keep the distance between the gun and the target small to reduce strain on the gun until it is broken in. 😮😅
ОтветитьStupid people ruining the final pieces of some of the only pieces of technology we have left that's been built to last. Planned obsolescence is now the New King.
ОтветитьI remember being there when my dad handed in some of his old rifles at a gun buyback. They put them in a pope bender typre thing and bent the crap out of the barrel and destroyed them.
ОтветитьTheoretically, all you did was change the barrel, so the bolt and all of that should have been fine as it would have been a functional weapon before it had the barrel cut and filled with lead.
ОтветитьImagine something like that, but with modern rifle in 2150
ОтветитьGood job I just subscribed
ОтветитьRakum or miss’em, that’s the question. Beautiful rifle.
