Ответитьvery helpful
ОтветитьHi Phillip, For the Medianth: when its not pertaining to salaries but only to an even number of people; then which person do you choose? ie. 4 people. 4+1 = 5 5/2 = 2.5. Do I choose the 2nd or the 3rd person? (this is an easy example for illustration, I understand the middle person of 5 is clearly #3)! Thank you for your help!
ОтветитьShort, Crisp and beautifully explained. Thank you for creating these videos.
One question i had from this was : when you mention consecutive number will have same mean and median, does that rule apply to any evenly spread data?
Have been binge watching your vids since I forgot all the basics because of the long academic gap. But you’ve shared pro tips here that’s worth gold! I have to say, You’re the best tutor ever!!! Infact, you’re better than the paid tutorials I have taken! I give the best tutor award to you!!!! Thank you for making quality education affordable for all! I am sure you’ve helped & earned the goodwill of many underprivileged students! God bless you! I hope all students find you like I did! Hope I pass with flying colours in my GRE exam! Thank you 🙏🏻

Ответитьthanks i needed this!!
ОтветитьOMG this is so helpful!!! In my first attempt I got this exact question and I failed it :(( I spent 3min on it and wasted so much time :( I can't wait to nail it in my second attempt!!
ОтветитьThis is great
ОтветитьMassively impressed of your tricks.
ОтветитьHey man My GRE is in 2 days. I wanted to thank you again for all the well thought out videos.
Here's some suggestions for you - I think you should "upgrade" your thumbnails to more interesting ones. Like you could add your photo as if you're confused about a core question like "is Mean=median?"
But keep the titles same. Or better yet, make a chronologically ordererd playlist for them. like
Week 1 Lec 1: Divisibility
Week 1 Lec 2: Factorization
❤️😍😘
ОтветитьGreat video! I wish I had found this channel before. You tips are huge time savers! Thanks
ОтветитьI did not know the last method
ОтветитьBest
ОтветитьYou just saved my life....best video and keep up the good work. Thank you very much

ОтветитьBrilliant 💯
ОтветитьI agree with this person 👇👇
ОтветитьMy Jesus is a Hero he brought me to the right Tutor!
ОтветитьMEDIAN = middle element
Case 1(odd number of elements): median = [p+1]th term : where n = 2p+1
Case 2(even number of elements): median = ([p]th term + [p+1] term) / 2 : where n = 2p
For example
25 = 2*12+1 ==> median = 12+1 = 13th term (case 1)
why are you teaching more than i was supposed to learn in elementary school
Ответитьwow
Ответитьawesome content. It is very useful for revising
Ответитьmedian = mean , the glass breaking sound , the edit is good
ОтветитьOne thing you missed in this, definitely multiplication and division doesn't matter but it has to be done from left to right
ОтветитьI found it particularly difficult to figure out the median whenever a range of data is involved. Thanks for clearing up my doubts. You are the best!!!
Ответитьin the last example, the median is not the mean, because it is not consecutive numbers, right ?
ОтветитьThank you for this gem. I have a question what if there are even people so answer will be 12.5 so we have to take average of range corresponding to 12th and 13th person, but which value will be using ? 40,0001 or 60,000 for 12th person? and 20,0001 or 40,000 for 13th person?
ОтветитьWould you be able to provide an all encompassing formula sheet for the GRE? - love your videos, makes math fun again like in high school.
ОтветитьHey, what if there are even number of people in the summation of frequencies?
ОтветитьI didn't know how to find the median for a group of consecutive integers, but I was aware of the median for a group of ppl. This made it even easier to visualize! A group of ppl is just a group of consecutive integers that starts at 1!. Lowest + highest / 2... (1+n)/2
ОтветитьThis man is the cheatcode to the game of GRE.
ОтветитьThe median is the middle person, this is an easier way to understand the median.
ОтветитьSo gratefullll!!!!! Thank you
ОтветитьMr philip thank you for this amazing video. I have one question when there's even number of people there is no need to add one right? i mean for example 24 people so divided by 2 we got 12 so the middle person is the 12th
ОтветитьThank you ❤
ОтветитьBeautiful
ОтветитьDay 1(03/02/24) : Done
