My office gives their lasik pts a calming pill before going in. Can’t remember what it was called. I was soooo happy about that ‘cause I was so scared as well. Made me way calmer going in but not loopy at all! Sooo glad I had it done. I wanted it for the last 20 years but was too chicken! Glad I waited this long though because of the newest technology these days. Would probably be having it done a second time had I done it that long ago 🤷🏼‍♀️.

I totally can feel your anxiety with the eye surgery. Honestly it is not terrible at all. But don't expect to be going out for a meal afterwards. Your eyes will be very sensitive (Even with sunglasses). You will do fine. They gave me a chilli pill before too. But i just took deep breaths. I love that i can see without lenses and glasses

I wore contacts on my wedding day, and I usually never do. That with the combo of fake lashes… I looked drunk in all my pics because my eyes were half closed. I wish I was able to get lasik!!! Congrats lol

Same thing you did with the paprika? I have done it with salt. There is no salvaging when 1/2 a bottle of salt gets dumped in. At least paprika isn't as bad.

I’m someone who hates anything in my eyes and eye drops were really hard for me to begin with. I find it easiest to lay down and do eye drops that way I’m not wasting a lot.

Allisa, ask your doctor to prescribe you Ondansetron 4mg, I ask for the disintegrating ones for nausea. It works so fast.

I am so happy your back, I have been dealing with some things lately and your videos always bring me comfort, also my mom many years ago got lasik and after maybe 10 years or less and she had to start wearing glasses again

put your eye drops in your tear duct and tilt your head and the liquid will cover the eye... easy as pie

I had scheduled my lasik months in advance and it was the worst idea because my anxiety towards it was so awful that I ended up cancelling.. I also have dry eyes and even with tear duct plugs it didn’t really help… so honestly I was so nervous about my dry eyes getting even worse… please keep us updated on your eye dryness during the healing process! I also get told I blink so much and even had someone ask me if I had Tourette’s.

Lovely to see you back, glad the down time did you good. When you have a medical procedure and you have all the info and are absolutely sure about things the it's better to get it done asap. Dwelling on things can make you second guess yourself. Now not only will your eyes be fully healed by your wedding but, by the looks of things (npi) by the time your Italy trip comes around. Try putting the eye drops in the inner corner of your eyes! It helps a lot. Also I use systane eye drops, it’s a decent size and usually lasts me about a month!

Dude… you should’ve waited until your eyes stop developing and your body won’t change from having kids before doing a surgery like that… lol you’re just gonna have to get it done again.

Hey Liss!. I have worn contacts since I was 15 and I'm...okay 55. I have to put saline drops too. I close my eye and then put a drop in the inside corner, open my eye and it just floats across. Try it. I'm a pro, lol. Also, y'all have a Happy Easter.
