ОтветитьCan you give the author for "Make Time"? There are a few books out there with that title.
ОтветитьI use task batching even for final edit of my documents at work and it does wonders, even though sometimes u get bored doing the same things over and over again, still very helpful in time saving
ОтветитьI’ve also been using daily highlight (tho not with that name). It really does help me make sure I’m doing stuff of value each day, including get rest when I need it!
ОтветитьI think it's called 'eat the frog'? Where you pick the most daunting/dreaded thing, and you do that first. Everything else feels much easier after that, and you don't have it hanging over you like a storm cloud.
Also, being able to text my partner that I've got a 'whole barrel of frogs to eat today' gives me a kick 😂
I feel cheated!! I thought you were doing 6 productivity tools each so was properly settled in, then realised it was 6 in total and it ended 🙄 🤣 😂 Guess i shouldn't make assumptions eh 😂 Great video and i have the 'Make Time' book too - agree with the recommendation 👍 ❤
ОтветитьHey 👋🏾 thanks for sharing. Can you put in chapters?
ОтветитьI started morning pages away from my main life jumble journal. Really revolutionary. Any thoughts on those guys
Ответитьcan't wait for 2025 - I have bought the Bullet Journal Pocket!!!yeah!
ОтветитьDaily mise from work clean! It has some overlap with some of the things you mentioned, and I wish more people knew about this book ❤
ОтветитьOh man, I'm in the depths of my system designing! I have ADHD, so I'm desperately trying to figure out a plan /without/ impulse purchases. But man, seeing all the new, shiny, beautiful planners out there... But, I know what I'm doing for productivity stuff. Mostly. I use a half letter disc, so I can change the guts out whenever I want. Currently I need to figure out if I want a weekly with a few dailies sprinkled in, or a monthly overview with dailies... I plan the night before, but 95% of the time I look at it the next day and go "nah!" and do whatever I want. Luckily my life is at a point where I don't have TOO many responsibilities, so it works out. I am trying to nail it down before that time ends... ALSO, I bought Make Time on Jess' recommendation, and I can't wait to get into it!
ОтветитьThanks for the recommendation of Make Time. Purchased it yesterday and started today with my first "highlight". Thanks for all the content you offer.
ОтветитьHow do you all do birthdays? I have monthly, week at a glance, daily, future log AND now a perennial little notebook. HELP!!
ОтветитьHi there, both of you are you user of the paid BuJo by Bulletjournal. There is also a community by Bulletjournal monthly paid fee are you using that...greetings from the Netherlands.
ОтветитьLord and Saviour I totally laughed out loud at that one. I’m definitely in a cult
Ответить❤ thanks for sharing this with us all
ОтветитьI like to use task batching when I'm planning our dinner menu. I try to plan meals for the entire month, rather than just one week.
ОтветитьActually, if I understood correctly, I do the opposite of task batching 😂
I tried to basically go through the tiny tasks that build one major task but it often feels so overwhelming to do it alltogether. So I started to still break larger tasks into veeeeery small steps, and to give myself permission to do those tiny steps one at a time. I've been so much more productive with this method. And I learnt how to break down tasks which alsways was very difficult for me before I took up this method 😊
Less overwhelm -> a lot more things done 😁
Hei! Just pop it, didden’t se og herar about the cannel. This I is fun! But I would like to se what wath tou use, and wath og deco you use🫣 send my love from Norge.
ОтветитьRemotespace is also an ultimate productivity tool. It sets up dedicated workspaces and controls team access—no passwords needed for sharing accounts! Simplify your workflow and keep things secure!
ОтветитьI've been using Motion (not Notion but also use that) for a few months now and I just recently figured out the right way to use it that works for me. Now that I know how to make it work for me, I feel like it's a big help. I've never been able to time block before maybe I finally figured out how to do it.

ОтветитьThanks for the insight! I’ve been using one of these tools for a while now, but I’m definitely going to try out the others. Excited to see how they’ll boost my productivity!
ОтветитьI love how you focus on tools that truly help improve productivity! I’ve tried a few of these myself, and they’ve made such a difference. Can’t wait to hear your take on other tools in future episodes!
ОтветитьThis made me want to reread Make Time^^ I should definitely include more of these tactics in my planning!
ОтветитьPlease use more images of journals your speaking of. Too much talking heads. And some need images
ОтветитьWhen speaking about things you do in your system, for my brain, i need visuals to follow/stay focused. I've had to rewind/rewatch several times to try to catch what your explaining, and am struggling to stay engaged because of this. I recognize you're not making content for just me, but I do know that I'm not so very unique in my learning style, so just something you might want to consider. Ut would also be helpful if you listed i bthe description any products, tools, or shops that are referenced in the video. Thanks!!!
ОтветитьThe ugmonk cards sound very much like tge Getting Things Done system methodology. Inbox (brain dump or tasks), next, projects, someday, reference.
