Ohhh!!! That mini korean barbecue grill is so cute!! searching online on where to buy
ОтветитьWill it still taste just as nice without any spice in it or is spice very important to the flavour. By spicy mean the chillies and stuff
ОтветитьMy ex boyfriend’s mom thought we were going to get married and I did too, but her son decided to cheat on me, so no thank you. Anyways, she taught me how to make this properly because it’s my ex’s favorite. Pretty much the same thing but instead of salt, use that fermented shrimp or saewoojeot to make it more umami. And the water you boil it with is the starch water from the rice you just rinsed. So, when you rinse the rice, save that water in a bowl and use that. It gives you a thicker consistency instead of a watery consistency. Trust me, it was amazing.
ОтветитьI like it very much. I Ate this meal when i was in Ansan city in korea. Pyo hejang guk also delicious
ОтветитьI made this and I didn't even have all the ingredients you have in the video. Did have the anchovy keep broth. Can't believe how amazing it made this soup taste!!! I love your videos!!! You are amazing and Clare is funny😊
ОтветитьI made this last night. It was wicked yummy ! 😋 I can see this becoming a staple for me. Thank you!
ОтветитьRunning to the grocery store to get the ingredients to make this. Looks soooo good!
ОтветитьWhat’s the alternative for beef?
Ответитьjust found your channel and i love it! Its calming and easy to understand. Also i love your wife! She is wholesome ♥
ОтветитьI tried to make this dish but had to compromise a lot 😅, I had no thin sliced beef or sardine/kelp so I turned to seafood. I boiled fish bones for about 30 minutes for my base broth, luckily had some spicy bean paste so I used that. I added vegetables but instead of zucchini I had Bok choy so I used that. So I read of beef I used salmon 🐟 + I had to use more of that soup soy sauce but end result was extremely satisfying.
ОтветитьWhere to get this mini grill?
Ответитьיאמי♥
ОтветитьYummy my mommy making this now
ОтветитьCooked it and my hubby gave me 10/10 😂😂😂 Perfect for us!
Ответитьkatie, don't you cook??
ОтветитьCan I make anchovy kelp broth using dried anchovies?

ОтветитьSo lucky you have a husband who cooks. Yum! Looks delicious!
ОтветитьYou need a salt slab, bro. 🧐
ОтветитьHi, can I make this without tofu? I am in South Africa, and I don't know where to find tofu.

ОтветитьMake more stew recipes please❤❤❤ l
ОтветитьThis was so good! Def like the restaurants! Thank you for sharing 😳🫡
ОтветитьI do add Kikkoman too. And sake and Mirin hehe. But also put in radish and carrot to bring sweetness to the stew. Extra chilli powder and white pepper. Bonito as well actually. Sounds more Japanese than Korean hehe. But use ssamjang gochujang, not miso.
ОтветитьWhere do you get the anchovy kelp broth bag from? I can barely find the big dried anchovies where I live.
ОтветитьFinally tried your recipe just now. It's so delicious and very flavorful...had to write this comment. I didn't have to add the soy sauce the taste was perfect for me. Thank you for sharing this recipe. And congratulations on your baby🎉🎉🎉
ОтветитьAwesome video. But for me, I like frying doenjang with the fat from the meat prior to adding water. So i fry the meat first in the pot, then add doenjang. Once i give it a good fry, then I pour water in, add tofu and vege.
ОтветитьIt’s so so soooo goood. I’m not Korean. But this one is a 10/10!! 🌟
ОтветитьThat looks so good! Hope all is good with the little one😊 Can’t wait for you to come back, but no rush ofc. Until then I’ll just have to go through the recipes you’ve already posted and see what other hidden gems I’ll find 😉
ОтветитьThank you. I made this today for the first time and it tasted so good!
Ответить10/10 soo tasty
ОтветитьFAR from traditional Jjigae.

Just posting to say this is the best recipe for doenjangjigae my wife and I use. Weve been substituting a few things here and there, but beef over pork anyday because less oil

ОтветитьWhere do you get the 1 Anchovy-Kelp Packet? Is there a place to order online?
ОтветитьYum ❤❤
ОтветитьI need to try this! I recently found a doenjang instant ramen at H-mart and found I really like it. I went ahead and bought doenjang on a subsequent shopping trip there and I think it's time to use it.
