Amazing and totally groundbreaking. I have an extra dose of satisfaction and pride since this movie was based on a short story called "Las Babas del Diablo" by the Great Argentinian writer , Julio Cortázar of whom I am a fellow countryman. The writer even appears in one of the scenes as a beggar, one of the first cameos of modern movie industry.
ОтветитьWorse crowd ever
ОтветитьShould have been "The Who❤️"
Ответитьorwel?
ОтветитьBlow Up! is a film that confounds me still to this day. I read where the Yardbirds was Antonioni's favorite band so he wrote a scene just to have them in the movie. The scene struck me as odd..like some of the scenes in 2001 a Space Odyssey do.. very cold and clicnical maybe.. the audience standing silent and still watching (save for one couple) until the guitar neck is thrown into them... very odd.. odd film... I like it a lot..but odd
ОтветитьMesmerizing
ОтветитьJanet Street-Porter dancing in the silver coat.

ОтветитьThe rhythm section train kept a rolling oooee
ОтветитьПервый раз слушаю. Пришёл после Александра Пушного, его рассказ про Лед цепелин...
ОтветитьThe only footage that I’m aware of with the Beck/ Page guitar lineup… What a bizarre scene-I remember hearing somewhere that the Director wanted them to behave as if they were The Who, smashing guitars… And they were like, why not just get The Who?
ОтветитьName the film?
ОтветитьThe CIA. Fifty years on titbits on Nixon and Chile emerge. They lost that one but persisted.
ОтветитьAce.
ОтветитьShouldn't everyone be movin and groovin?
ОтветитьJimmy Page was their third best lead guitarist.
ОтветитьThat woukd have been a priceless guitar
ОтветитьHow can those people just sit and stand there motionless and emotionless with such great music washing over them?
ОтветитьWow. ! There are some other recognisable faces there ! So young and talented…. ✨🎸💯👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻❤️

ОтветитьConnerie de film!
ОтветитьTrain kept a rolling all night long, Steven was just figuring it all out 😅
ОтветитьThis was my favorite part of the movie which I never saw until 2022 on Turner Classic Movie Channel. Jeff Beck was annoyed at his guitar & smashed it up. He was so young & adorable. RIP guitar legend!!🥺🎸💕
ОтветитьBoy what a piece of learning about Zep's origins! Some pioneering shit here. Still sounds fresh and badass, too!
ОтветитьTrain kept a rolling Yardbirds style isn’t there outtakes of Yardbirds session of Blow Up?
ОтветитьI think the who stoled the yard birds smashing instruments
ОтветитьJimmy Page muito gatinho aqui🥰
ОтветитьThis is as good as anything from that era!
ОтветитьIt was said that Jeff Beck was temperamental when things didn't go his way. Like kicking amplifiers or speakers when he was angry. Of course this could be an act, since it's a movie. But he was really temperamental.
