Well you know, give 100 guys an M10M and none of the pictures probably would turn out like that.
Alan has talent and he works hard at his own vision.
No amount of money thrown at gear will ever equal that combo: talent and vision trumps all
Spectacular photos 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
ОтветитьRespectfully i think Alan Schaller is one of the best photographers ive ever witness. To me he is among my pantheon of photographers.
Ответитьwow!
ОтветитьLove the idea of fixing a focus distance. Very nice tip.
ОтветитьQuando potrò mi comprerò la leica Q2 monochrom! ...ci manca poco...
Ответитьif only leicas would be affordable...
ОтветитьMy goodness does anyone know this song
ОтветитьThis was such an amazing video, so emotional too
ОтветитьPhenomenal... :-)
ОтветитьHi Alan , do you use any colour filter?
ОтветитьThe cinematography here is as striking as Alan Schaller's photographs.
Ответитьenormous talent
Ответитьwow, just wow...by far the best 24 mm photographer I have ever seen
ОтветитьThe beast M Camera....
ОтветитьRalph Gibson uses the same approach, i.e, placing limits on himself. Aha, it IS a Leica Monocrom! Well, then, never mind what I said about shooting in B&W! ;)
ОтветитьLike Allan's bag...some great shots..
ОтветитьGuy is a stud.
ОтветитьMakes sense. But just some times for me. Then I switch and LOVE the combination of colors... or something nearly monochrome in... blue... the pastels of Saul Leiter for instance. Then again, the B/W photography of a film like THE MAN WHO WAS NOT THERE (DP: Roger Deakins!) then the mad colors of the final sequence of 2001 or APOCALYPSE NOW or a film by Wes Anderson. Brillant pics, Alan, for sure. But I would NEVER give up the opportunity of a RAW pic that let's me decide if I want to keep or lose the color. The picture will tell me, if it is better this or that way.
ОтветитьCan just somebody mention me which camera Alan uses?
Ответитьwhat is the make of the black leather camera bag i see in your videos? love your work. inspired me to get the q2 mono which i love.
ОтветитьThis set of images and the way the video was shot is very inspirational. As someone that has often gone down the rabbit hole of ‘too much’ gear, I find myself finally letting go of extraneous gear and settling in with the Monochrom and 2 lenses. It is like a deep weight has been lifted off my shoulders.
ОтветитьAmazing
ОтветитьGreat concept....”the liberation of limitation “. So true.
ОтветитьThese are what I want my photos look like.
Ответить👍👍
ОтветитьAwesome work - my only issue with the Leica marketing is that I noticed they used all of Alan’s photos for their monochrome campaign. Not every one is going to achieve those kinda of results...it’s such a unique style that I fear you’ll have lots of copy cats.
Ответитьdon‘t focus too hard
ОтветитьO cara é muito bom
ОтветитьFabulous.. Loved this. 😍😍👌👌
ОтветитьYou can see that he does it with passion. Amazing photos! :) I love it!
ОтветитьAnother great video!
ОтветитьDon’t focus to hard
Ответитьthanks Alan for your pictures and your great play with light!!
It inspires me very much to use my M Monochrom different as I did up to now.
Great video with nice pictures and i totally agree with the liberation of limitation theme.
One technical point is the author was using the in camera viewfinder with a 24mm lens even though the camera has no frame lines for that particular lens.
Not exciting.. Hehehe boring thx leica
ОтветитьToo constrasty for my taste, B&W should have the beautiful midtones.
ОтветитьWho’s got the song?
ОтветитьJust discovered Alan. Super inspiring and excellent collection of photos.
ОтветитьGreat publicity for a great camera. Wonderful images.
ОтветитьBeing a huge fan on B&W photography I really like Alan's images and style of shooting.
ОтветитьDon't get me wrong, I really like your pix and I think you've got a great eye but limiting yourself to just this format is just that; limiting. Try taking a camera with a prime telephoto too.
ОтветитьAnyone have a link to the song?
ОтветитьHe's genius!
ОтветитьIf I was sponsored by Leica, I could also go out every day and take pictures, instead I have to be on a desk and go out whenever I can.
ОтветитьGreat images. I love to know if these images where straight of the camera or edited.
ОтветитьExcellent video
ОтветитьSuch a talented artist ! Kudos Alan !
