I'm thinking of buy a used 19' Honda Insight.

I bought a Honda Insight in 2018. After driving I was getting nervous and was losing consciousness and strength in my right hand. I complained to the dealer and Honda company in California but they did not listen. While driving I was getting unconscious, called an ambulance, and had to check the cause, but they couldn’t find any heart trouble or brain trouble or tumors, etc. But later a friend who is an engineer told me that this kind of car is health hazardous. I found out that many have complained about Honda cars for the same problems in the past. After I kept complaining, the Honda dealer asked me to come and promised to change the car. When I went to get another car, he took away 8000 dollars from the faulty car to take it back and sold the other car for more than the price. They never confessed that Honda Insight is a faulty mode and has been discontinued many, many times in the past. I was very hurt. I thank God that I survived, even though they cheated and lied to me. They also wanted me to sell the car to someone, but I couldn’t. I love others as I love myself. I was collapsing. Then how can I give to others? I told them that dishonesty will not bring blessings. But they were so cruel and did not listen, seeing I was a senior and a woman they took advantage of me. They never write when I complain but only talk on the phone. We purchase laws to protect, but we cannot purchase righteous God. Plus, he doesn't care if you are Honda or Toyota. He will fight my battle. I am a missionary living with little income and this giant Honda stole my money, but I tell you my God will give me sevenfold plus back.

These are so cheap in my used market rn. It’s very interesting for someone in the market who has been priced out of other hybrids.

Been a year with mine, went with the 2021 EX and average around 48-52 mpg with 70% fwy driving on my daily commute. Filling up around 50 mile range is around $40 every 3 to 4 weeks in california during FJB gas prices, not too bad.

Best for me was, 58 on my 2022 touring.

Now come back look at it in 2022, with the high gas price and etc. ppl are getting their hands on anything that is an hybrid.

You keep saying things that suggest you don't know what a hybrid is--e.g., no tailpipe or tachometer "because it's a hybrid." It's a hybrid, not full electric.

The front end is still trying too hard.

I hate that Honda cheaps-out on so many things. E.g., your whole experience in the car is in the seat, and they have crappy seats (poor form, no lumbar, no memory). Hondas have reliable engines, but not as reliable as Toyotas (which are ugly) and overall, Mazda just makes better cars. So, what does Honda offer anymore?

I’m getting 56 mpg on the regular with my 2019 insight Touring. I’m so impressed. As an Uber/Lyft driver during these challenging gas prices, this is awesome!

I purchased the 2022 Insight Touring package three weeks ago. I purchased it for a daily driver and for road trips around Oregon, specifically to Mt Hood where my family has a tiny ski cabin.

With guests in the vehicle, it is unable to achieve and maintain highway speeds without the engine redlining with any more than one person in the car. It can barely make it up the 2-3% graded area, and I was terrified to try the 6% graded area. It felt INCREDIBLY unsafe and underpowered. My brother and I both thought something was slipping. The engine revs dramatically and almost no power is sent to the wheels.

I have no idea how I can use it to carpool. If you know the Portland area, it struggles to get up the west hills of through the tunnel up to Skyline on the way to Beaverton with just me (155 lbs). If I had two people or more in the car, I would feel horribly unsafe.

I took it to the shop and they said it was working as designed. This is completely unacceptable!

If you live in a completely flat area or only drive on city streets, yeah it will probably be fine. If you have any hills whatsoever, you are fucked.

Gonna be my next car. The only thing I dont like qbout it is the rear.

Dam this car is slow. No thanks, won't be getting this. I came here to see what hybrids are like. Didn't know they were this slow, that was painful watching this car accelerate to 80. Wish we could all just afford teslas.

Wow, that engine is really noisy and makes a bad whining sound. I guess this car isn't for me. Maybe most people won't notice.

I’m so much more comfortable with the camera instead of blind spot monitoring. With blind spot monitoring I don’t actually see what’s there and I don’t trust it

This car is not available in my country. I clicked on the video without reading the caption thinking it's the 10th gen Accord. A couple of seconds later, I was like the new Civic looks good in blue.
But then it struck me it's something between a Civic and Accord.

Should be badged as the Civic Hybrid. Would sell way more then

Just got 2021 touring. Now with blind spot monitoring and rear cross traffic alert. So enjoyable to drive. Awesome looks, ample power, great gas milaege. Loads of techs as standard. 👍👍

Every time I listen to you reviews I think you just sound bitchy. You say things before you think and a lot of what you say is simply your opinion which is meaningless in your review. For example complaining about a feature the car doesn't have. Many cars don't have all features like a Prius doesn't have a thousand horsepower. Why complain about something that doesn't exist on the car for a reason or a price point.
