Wesh mon bout
ОтветитьI hope not. Too expensive as is. Go build up a smaller towns. That is just me.
ОтветитьAs a San Jose resident, living in the heart of a Silicon Valley, i sure hope it is. The ridiculous housing prices and congestion has gone too far.
ОтветитьSilicon Valley is no good ! Wake up
Ответитьi vote for Russia (Sankt-Peterburg)! Great place to be
Ответитьthey're reigning NBA champ, and who wa it before ? the warriors of golden state, and where do they come ? the silicon valey, hum hum coincidence ? i dont think so...
ОтветитьToronto is an amazing city! Tecnological and global city.
ОтветитьI hope it brings lots of opportunities for the people of Toronto
ОтветитьWow magnifik😍
ОтветитьJust type on Google: "is the next silicon valley". Have fun.
ОтветитьThanks everyone for checking out this piece. Toronto is doing some amazing things in the social innovation space!!!
And good luck to everyone applying for the global workshop ✌️
I went to Toronto recently and something about it just rubbed me the wrong way. I don't know... I got this weird vibe that the people there were trying really hard to act as if they have some sort of NYC pretentiousness, but really trying to play into it. Granted, I was only there for 3 days and i spent most of it around the Yonge Square area, but yeah, there was definitely a weird vibe there.
ОтветитьIf you have to call something the 'next Silicon' anything just stop there and look in a different direction.
ОтветитьToronto is not an affordable city.2000$ a month for a single bedroom apartment is anything but affordable.
ОтветитьToronto affordable? lol Thats a straight lie.
Ответитьlol, Seattle already did that years ago with Portland and Vancouver right after. They weren't trying either, Californians just won't stop moving up here.
ОтветитьGood for Canada 👍👍
ОтветитьWhen it comes to music, Toronto will become the next Seattle
ОтветитьIt's been greating seeing my city grow the way it has.
I just hope the tech industry can make use of what the rest of the province of Ontario and the rest of the country has to offer. The amount of focus on Toronto and the population growth has meant Toronto is becoming a bigger piece of the Canadian pie, and that may have reprecussions.
In Ontario, Toronto suburbs like Vaughan, Markham, even Oshawa, etc, have room to grow (upwards), more affordable housing and still lots of talent (need more transit, I know.) Further out, KWC, London, Hamilton, Windsor, Kingston, Guelph, etc...all have universities, institutes, young talent, and could absorb much of Toronto's new population and business. Would love to see each of them grow to mid-size cities or more in coming years.....further pushing regional transit programs.
Outside of southern Ontario. Well there is still 9 million sq km left (of course, not all inhabitable). I just hope we can start seeing this growth to less vibrant parts of the country. Northern Ontario, the Maritimes, parts of the Priaries, parts of Quebec, they could all use a jolt of energy and growth. And I really hope tech booms in Calgary and Edmonton so they won't be as vulnerable to oil price fluctuations.
Its because of UWaterloo
ОтветитьHow is Toronto Hollywood North? Isn’t that Vancouver?
ОтветитьDid he seriously just say Toronto housing is affordable? lol i wish
ОтветитьWo Wo WO! Hollywood north is Vancouver. From Holly wood California you just drive north to Vancouver British Columbia Canada. The busiest movie & TV production center in all of Canada. It started with the X Files and Star Gate etc and has just continued to get bigger with Net Flixx etc. Housing is the #1 problem in Toronto, The most expensive city in Canada to live. Still cheep compared to NY or Paris. The cost of University education, even as a foreign student is what makes it affordable for advantaged smart foreign students.
ОтветитьSocial and capitalism are dire opposites. Toronto n Canadians need to understand that if they want to come close to silicon valley.
ОтветитьI highly doubt it will be the next silicon valley. No one wants to live where rents are sky high and winter is six months long.
ОтветитьI just wonder why red bull official channel is making a video about tech hub transformation...weird
ОтветитьPlease no.
ОтветитьToronto = Affordable if you in Tech, Law, or Business.
Not affordable if you are anything else.
well silicon valley is becoming more dirty.. tech professionals are living in their cars...
ОтветитьI thought Hollywood North was Vancouver, BC.
ОтветитьVancouver is more likely to become Silicon Valley
ОтветитьVoice Over: "....Toronto is affordable..."
University Director: "...working to empower people facing homelessness..."
OK if we’re being regionally specific Vancouver should be the next Silicon Valley not Toronto I know there’s tech stuff in both houses but you know what I mean
ОтветитьToronto is affordable? Give me a break. Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver are WAY too expensive and they rank as some of the most expensive cities in the damn world. This is why people should focus more on the other 3 cities that are in the top 6, Ottawa, Calgary and Edmonton.
ОтветитьNo. Toronto is an expensive dump
ОтветитьToronto is my home. Great community, smart minds, and people who care about equality and doing social good.
ОтветитьBebgaluru Is worlds fastest growing tech hub
ОтветитьLet me answer your question, as someone from the city: LOL NOT A CHANCE. Consider the following:
1) Insanely expensive real estate
2) Low pay--the vast majority of the best Canadian software engineering talent leaves Canada. Why pay higher taxes, get paid less, deal with horrible winters, and fewer job opportunities?
3) Scale--Toronto's limited size means you don't have the networks of talent and capital you would find in NYC or SF
Why is redbull the "DRINK COMPANY" making a video about Toronto
ОтветитьNope too expensive
ОтветитьToronto is the best city
ОтветитьRedbull cooperates with idiots.
Center of Kiev. Pedestrian zone.
Territory of the cathedral on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
@
not quite a proper representation of the caption for the video, shud have wrote simply, ryerson university, disappointed, nothing to extract from this video
Ответитьwait, red bull?
ОтветитьRelatively affordable. Joke 😁
ОтветитьWHAT ABOUT VANCOUVER???
ОтветитьLmao at the title
ОтветитьAppabfelty not but the rent sure is
ОтветитьI think is possible that Toronto have been converting in the new SV in CA. But in Vancouver is the capital in Supply Chain Management in CA.
ОтветитьWhy is this a redbull video?
