Today is my Birthday, and I need a little help from you. Plus Spinning a self striping batt!

Hey fellow Aquarius—happy birthday! My birthday was last Saturday. I have similar goals on my channel, but I’ve been going for only four years, not nine years. Your videos were some of the first spinning and fiber prep videos I ever watched, and all those years ago, I never would have imagined that we would ever become friends, but through the world of social media, we made it happen! I’m grateful to have you as my friend, and I’m glad you are doing better!

Happy Birthday Sara! I love seeing all the things you, including you sweatering up to brave the cold to feed the chickens. I spin, dye, weave, knit and just started learning a knitting machine, so i'm excited to see everything you do. When i saw the insane amount of Christmas knitting you were doing I made my sister start watching. After showing the color work sweater that Marshall cut with scissors, we now lovingly refer to you as Scissors Mom. Thank you for having a real voice and I hope you get all your fiber wishes!

I have been a subscriber for a few years since I started using my spinning wheels, I discovered your channel looking for different ways to dye and prepare fibre and I would love to see more spinning/knitting/fibre prep content.🍰 Have fun on your trip!

Happy birthday Sara. I enjoy all of your content and get one of those little dopamine hits when there is a new one. I would love to see more knitting tips (have watched your viral weaving ends one at least three times), spinning content, and fibre prep, especially in relation to colour blending. I am also keen to learn more about how you design your own knitwear. The ability to do that off the cuff “I’ll just make a Spider-Man sweater as I go” feels like a super-power to me. I am not sure I have seen any of your weaving content, but I am about to embark on a two shaft, table loom restoration and then start learning to weave, so will look out for that type of content too.
My only other request for you is that you hold fast to that confidence you express in what you have to offer, and not apologise for requesting things from your audience. You are essentially providing a free knowledge service, it is not unreasonable to ask people to actively show their support for the effort you put into that.
Oh and I don’t “instagram”, so my lack of support on that front isn’t about you. You are once of a few tempters to get me there though, as a consumer of content at least.
