I am enjoying your travel video to Germany, through Normandy. One of my mother's cousins, the Carr family, arrived at Normandy. He was killed. But I don't know if it was at the landing or later. His brother was in France as well. My father fought in France and then marched into Germany. He blamed Hitler for the war, but not the German soldiers. We had a neighbor in Georgia, the son of a German soldier who moved here. My dad was always very friendly with him.

Hi Lisa. I remember a while ago you did a video about using a gimbal, and was wondering why you don’t use one for your filming? Thanks for your videos we’d love to drive to Dunkirk, it’s on our list.

Come on guys, I know you corrected the Dunkirk details at the end of the vlog, well done for that, but that's basic British history, how could you not know that already, especially with your family history.

We visited Dunkirk and it was very desolate then. You were so close to Ypres. Lisa, my Dad was a US paratrooper. He trained in the UK before leaving for North Africa during WW11

I probably wouldn’t have known the ins and outs about D-day if my other half wasn’t war mad! We have visited most of the places associated with the War and were in Normandy for the 50th anniversary and were are passing through in the next week to catch the 80th. Normandy is lovely and well worth a visit. Ignore those saying why didn’t you know! We usually get the ferry into Dunkirk so I haven’t really spend much time there.

Oooh. Jose Cuervo..
I love that LOVE mochino perfume.. I used to wear it way back 2008 and couldn’t find them easily nowadays..

What an amazing road trip.. I wish we had the courage to drive around in Europe..

Isn’t it amazing to learn about history and how our own grandads were involved. I remember my grandad telling us about the death march that happened in the Philippines and how he survived it and what he did to do so.. I live a bit of history .. 😊

Dunkirk beach wasn’t D Day. Battle of Dunkirk happened at the start of WW2, our troops were pushed to the beach by the Germans invading France. If British civilians hadn’t used their boats along with the military boats to rescue British troops we’d have lost the war.! D day was at the end of the war where we along with the USA landed at Normandy to push the Germans back to retake France.
