Update on Shirley Curry: some absolute legend created a mod that adds Grandma Curry as a follower in Skyrim, and she's absolutely awesome. Even has custom dialogue voiced by the woman herself.

Everytime i feel depressed before sleeping, i watch one of oz' wholesome videos , even though i know all the memes now cause i've been doing it for almost 2 years. I really like listening to his voice and his commentary, they're comforting in a way that he's really the only one to make . All that to say, thank you oz for making videos, you don't know it but you've helped me a lot and i'm probably not the only one :) (i'm really sorry what im trying to say isn't super clear i hope someone can understand my gibberish)

The 21 - 29 year old post made me tear up a little, thank you 90s grown man from an early 00s human.

getting over a shitty breakup, feeling at my loneliest ever because I'm having a mental repeat of previous trauma. I like watching these videos because it still gives me hope that things will get better :) I haven't felt like crying in a couple of days and I'm finally getting back out of survival mode. If I can survive this, I can survive anything.

One more year and I shall have a body he has never touched. Healing comes in times. Things get better.

About holding the door open for people; fucking do it. It may not seem like much, but I guarantee you that the people you do that for will silently be thanking you. For example, I held a door open for an elderly couple (my family was going out to Steak 'N' Shake) and when I did, the husband turned to look at me, pointed at me and said "we need more people like you in the world". And that just annihilated my heart, because it's highly likely that I was the nicest thing to happen for those two people in a while. I dunno where those two are now, but I hope they're living a peaceful life with one another.

In other words, don't let kindness die. Instead of wishing for kind people to return, hunker down and become the kind person. Set an example. Hold the door open for those who need it, help your neighbors move some furniture when they ask, help a crippled person with their shopping if you see them struggle. You don't have to be the smartest or the strongest or the fastest. Just do what you can to make someones day.
