The last suit wasn't tan, the turtle neck wasn't cream, and the polo wasn't powder blue. How is this at all an accurate test. I'm only a few minutes into the combinations, and of course the navy shirt didn't go with the grey. But do you know what would have? Powder blue, like what was suggested.

I disagree. You kinda ruin the experiment by substituting the light bkue with the navy. And you didnt pick the colors he said. Tan is more rich than toupe. And that light gray had texture. I think it was supposed to be worsted. The ties you picked didnt fit the width of the lapels. Black suede isnt the best option eithet for this experiment. Ideally black leather shoes and boots or dsrk brown. You changed things up kinds lost what steve was saying but doing your own thing. A zip up? Looked bad in all the suits options. You coukdve gone with long sleeve navy polo but that metal zipper just made it look horrid. I believe it can work. But def if you stick to the basics. 2bt notch suits. Worsted. I think you messed it up by trying to make it fit your style. This seems to be simed at those who are just starting and want suits that work well together. I also think that a blacksuit isnt needed unless its for a funeral.

I think they all work actually. And powder blue would have looked great as well. U diverged from his advice and I don't believe he said anything about shoes. But as you can see it works. His advice was correct and it was just advice for starter looks. Ppl really do too much just to be disagreeable.

So...I really live all the work you put into this video. I think most of the combinations were pretty fly actually. I love the substitution of the tan turtleneck. However, I must say that you didn't actually follow the directions given. I think you could have accounted for complexion by finding shades of each that worked with your skintone. The brown suit was not brown at all. The Greay suit could have been a different shade of gray. The light blue shirt would have been amazing instead of the navy. At least it could have been a navy buttondown shirt. All in all, I think you would have gotten 75 combos that worked if you followed a bit more closely, but you definitely proved that Steve's logic was pretty sound.
