ОтветитьGoing to try this at the weekend, no soggy bottoms on your pies Aunt Jay, the pastry looks so crisp. Do you allow the filling to cool before filling?
ОтветитьBrilliant! The bottom of the pie looked nice 'n' firm too. Not soggy at all.
Is that because of the foil allowing the crust to cook through quicker?

ОтветитьLooks good but I would have browned all the meat off in 1 or 2 batch's in a big pan, makes no sense doing 3/4 pieces at a time

My backside is hotter than that. After 40 minutes I have pale coloured cardboard.
Managed to save my pies after increasing the temperature. 🙄
It is. I marinated and used worcestershire spice on my meat. Added onion and garlic. Super!
