Lauren everything looks beautiful. I like the rockers by the fire pit, however if you aren't using them much now I would move them under the eve of the porch facing the pool. It gives a much more inviting vibe to summer and the pool. My vote option 2 in the summer and option 1 in the fall/ colder months. Happy summer decorating! Love your channel.

Is the area you live in kind of like San Diego, where you don't get a lot of bugs? So many of your ideas are soooo cute (like the storage baskets with kids' stuff and the cozy blankets), but all I can think about is the spider haven it would all become here starting around mid-June 😝

I am a big fan Lauren. Have u considered installing individual swings for your children hanging from your wood lattice rooftop? My children, even as teenagers, always loved their individual swings that we hung under our deck floor at our patio area.

Hear me out do option 1, get a long bench with planters, then under the patio out the back door do the daybed swings with a bar OR x the day beds and do a rattan chair set just 2 and a small table under the patio.

Yes but more chairs for the fire pit , maybe brown chairs for over there but same rocking chairs. Don’t get rid of the pit. Just upgrade it so no one smells like fire fighter. Gathering around the fire = many s’mores memories ❤🎉❤🎉

The rocking chairs look great as option 1. Another type of chair would be awesome around the fire pit, the rocking chairs seem too tall/big for that area. The day beds would be awesome. Go for the outdoor tv. I bought my husband one for his birthday 5 years ago and he loves watching sports every weekend outdoors.
