when i used to play spore with my brothers, one made a bird like economic race, and i made a religious frog. during the creature stage play through i got this max level achievement... for flight distance, and my brother was there to see it. we both flipped at how hilarious and absurd that was.

Not having played this since I was a child, I really forgot how charming the whole experience was. Thanks for sharing!

Some detail I noticed during the cell stage is that your cell gets less translucent the more you get bigger.

Fun fact: You don't have to put legs on your creature to make move on land. It can just crawl around like a worm-like creature.

EA killed spore.
The game had near INFINITE potential, and could have been among the largest, most fleshed-out games of all time.
But then Maxis had financial troubles, and EA swooped down like the disgusting vulture that they are, buying maxis and publishing spore as an unfinished game.

I so desperately hope that one day, a good development team that actually cares about their games and their fanbase over maximising profits will pick up where Maxis left off, and create a new game that goes into all of the detail.
A gamer can only hope I guess 🙁🙁

What I like doing the most on Spore is simulating Human evolution, and the Human form is actually pretty damn weak, no wonder we survived thanks to our intelligence only

Life cannot come from non life. If life came from space on a a meteorite, that just pushes the origin of life further back without any way for it to appear from non life. Secondly, life cannot design it’s own dna, a complex code which also requires rna and nano machinery. Even if a tardy grade did come to earth, it would remain a tardy grade, because a tardy grade cannot design new dna to add new features to itself. The entire evolution theory is not scientific. It is in fact a pagan attack on creation.

Awesome video!!! Also there are species that do get along to the point to interact with eachother, for example Humans and Dogs love eachother, playing with eachother, and even sleeping with eachother in the same bed, for example me and my Cavapoo Charlie sleep in the same bed :) another species that get along with eachother are Hippos and Tick Birds, Tick Birds eat pests off Hippos like Ticks, Mosquitoes, Wasps, Nats, ETC, and Hippos let Tick Birds hang out on their backs :)

It would be great if the entirety of spore was just longer and more detailed versions of the Cell and Creature stages
The tribal stage was a massive letdown for me

I love doing stalk eyed races on worlds that have the eyeball bushes and trees, it makes sense as a camouflage as long as their stalks are the same red of those plants.

I mean, not EVERY creature has to be pretty.

I, for one, love the spit cannon species

Also, like 90% of Cambrian life looks like a Spore Cel Stage creature.

Whenever I play spore I always like to make changes based off of what keeps happening to my creature and I also make sure to slow down the speed of which they grow

Like if I want to make my creature evolve to grow arms I give them tiny nubs with a few fingers until many changes later when I fully extend them out

Sometimes I wish spore would get a rerelease maybe include all DLCs and add a few new parts. Of course that's just a dream that I hope might come true although it might never happen.

This game helped my creativity when i was a kid which helped me draw my own creatures.

If Spore ever does get a rerelease i am going to play it.

This feels like a college professor hundreds of years in the future, showing an outdated evolution simulator, to show how far their understanding of evolution has come.

Remember guys, you can choose a different planet however, most people choose that one that he chose. You don’t have to be an herbivore which means you don’t have to grow spikes and you don’t have to play how he played. In case you’re new.
