Saw Siniakova play Fernandez in Hong Kong late last year. She’s a highly skilled player with strong mental toughness. I won’t be surprised if she beats more top 10 players this year. Wonder if she will shift to playing more singles.

You always know what Siniakova is thinking. She doesn't hid much.

No one is really talking about this but I see a change in Coco's game since Coach Pere Riba and her split their coaching partnership. Pere is an excellent coach and his record is phenomenal, look how much he has transformed Q. Zheng. The influence of a coach can never be under estimated. Raducanu should have kept her coach that took her to US Open.

How the mighty have fallen! I'm guessing Brad Gilbert couldn't get a visa for Qatar, so she had no support. It'll play on her mind and her slam victory will remain a distant memory.

In hot sunny conditions Gauff struggles, against hard hitters she also struggles, ONLY looks good when she plays against less aggressive, softer hitting opponents...today it showed. Well done Katerina...
