Do you have tiktok or instagram?
ОтветитьAl Kavadlo's modified method of hinging at the hip will be an easier progression for those without band or a training partner.
ОтветитьI roll up a towel, works perfect
ОтветитьI see that App State!! I’m from Tennessee and have been to Boone a few times. Beautiful campus.
ОтветитьThis video is so helpful. I was wondering when you explained the elevation. do you mean how tall the thing thats going to limit your range of motion or how many inches off the ground the object your chest will be?
Ответитьare those equator speakers??
ОтветитьCan you provide your workout plan ?
Ответитьgreat explanation! subscribed.
ОтветитьThis is one of the BEST instructional videos i have ever seen. I'm hoping this will help increase my son's running speed. He did the 3x8 today on the second band like you did in the video. I was shocked. Should he be going down around 4-5 seconds to ensure his tendons are really being worked? I just want to make sure he's doing them correctly. Thanks again for a great video.
ОтветитьThis is the best video I found on nordic curls. I run, cycle and play soccer, so I don’t do any other exercise for hamstrings. Kind of scared they would rip. :D
ОтветитьAwesome video an explanation 👏
ОтветитьIve just been banging out 3 sets of 5 negatives, with a pusbup back to the too and doing it 2-3 times a week. Making slow but steady progress. I tried setting up bands but it just felt awkward. Maybe Ill try them again if I can find a place to anchor behind me. Also maybe I am doing too many sets per week. Thanks for the info I will try some of these things.
ОтветитьNice video, man. I went a completely different way, less granular and more by feel through daily exposure for about a month until the first one and now (about a year later) I am also doing them once a week as my training is more comprehensive and I am going for a minimum effective dose style.
The angle manipulation is the reason why I never approached them sistematically like you did, too many variables to control for. Cool to see once more there are many ways of figuring things out!
My question is how do you feel now compared to before when you couldn't perform the nordic curl? Do you feel a difference in everyday movement
ОтветитьI always want to do those, but I never get a place with the right equipment to perform those and about to build my own at home, lol ..
Ответитьfirst 20 seconds in the video and i'm already going full despair mode
ОтветитьUsing a band is genius for this!
ОтветитьAwesome! Thanks for the video!! Can you comment on performance increases as a result of doing Nordics? I know they are supposed to lead to less susceptibility to injury. But has your speed and strength increased substantially?
ОтветитьYou Sir are amazing 😄👍.
ОтветитьI have a nordstick I just bought, but no bands yet. If I purchase some bands, and don't have a partner, where should I connect the bands to on the door? Thanks
ОтветитьDear person reading this YOU are such a blessing to beyond a gazillion times and beyond that and beyond that and beyond that and beyond that!😀

ОтветитьThis is Incredible
ОтветитьAwesome stuff. Keep the good work. I wanna do this to improve my stamina for snowboarding.
ОтветитьI like and wonder why an American has a Gilbert on his desk?
ОтветитьWhat if they let go of the band lol
ОтветитьThank you
ОтветитьAn alternative or complementary way to progress nordics if you have access to a Glute Ham Developer is to do a razor curl where you flex the hips as you descend. This has a similar effect to resistance bands in that it makes the bottom position a little easier. But it also has the added benefit of taking the hamstrings into a greater stretch at the bottom. You can progress by flexing the hips less and less over time.
ОтветитьHey, how do I progress once I have achieved a flat ground Nordic?
ОтветитьThanks for making this, it was really well done and super clear
ОтветитьVery informative video, thank you for the helpful info! Will reference when training for my first nordic.
ОтветитьWhat a great video. Know it's been a while now but curious how/if you're still progressing and what impact you've seen in other lifts/movements/etc based on this?
ОтветитьGreat video man! Also, should I perform this exercises at the beginning or end of my workouts?
ОтветитьAwesome tutorial, thank you for sharing!
Ответитьgood video! it is very well explained!
Ответить
Saludos y pulgar arriba
Dude this is amazing, thank you I’m going to use it. Been doing these for months and not progressing as fast as I would like. Great, GREAT video I appreciate it!!
ОтветитьI use yoga pads for my knees and for my ankles I put on socks, after wrapping fat grips around loadable dumbbells where I have to use about 123lbs each foot even at 142lbs body weight
ОтветитьDo you play rugby? I saw the ball in the background
ОтветитьHow did getting this movement down impact your athleticism and overall strength?
ОтветитьThis is great thank you
ОтветитьI used your band methods and now can do a full Nordic thank you for the help and putting out this amazing video.
ОтветитьEveryone needs this
ОтветитьExcellent technical content based on pure experiential research and superbly presented - thanks for sharing! Also, congratulations on your awesome progress. You obviously started with a strong foundation in posterior chain strength!
