Just spent two weeks in Spain and went from Barcelona to Sevilla. #1 complain of mine is the Spanish attitude, shortness, and some nastiness. I had always heard about French attidude towards tourists, but I have to say Spaniards, for now, hold the #1 position.
It got so bad I wanted to leave at the end of week one. We didn't and kept going, but it took its toll on our overall mood about this trip.
(It was bad enough, I will put this opinion on any Spanish travel blog/video I see!)
This is the Best Barcelona You tube video I have seen so far. Thank you.
ОтветитьWhich hostel should I stay for a private room in city center?
ОтветитьVery nice content and very well organized. However, referring to "plaça" as "placa" is horrible IMO.
ОтветитьFull house. Please don't come, thanks!
ОтветитьYes I want to go I did my dna test and found out Iam Spanish and basque on my father side Alarcon so I wana visit Spain I was born in Belize 🇧🇿 and have a us visa
ОтветитьVery helpful tips thank you
ОтветитьHow to avail the Barcelona card😅
ОтветитьI’m going for 2 weeks in November
ОтветитьI am NOT; but the WATER is ................
ОтветитьVery good. Very helpful. Thank you very much.
ОтветитьGreat video! May I also add a tip on getting cash in Spain -- Spain banks charge a variety in fees c- some charge absolutely Zero ATM fees to foreign cards holders and some charge ridiculously high fees. So its an important cost consideration when travelling there. Found an app for this - ATM Fee Saver - it gives a list of fee-free and lower fee ATMs along with their withdrawal limits. Boy, it was soo helpful! landed up saving so much on ATM fees. Worth adding to your list, it will help a lot of international travellers!
Ответитьthis place is not safe city
ОтветитьGreat vid and tips. Planning to visit Barcelona next year either April or May. Will early May still shoulder season or already charging peak season rates? By the way as a soccer fan Nou Camp is a must even though I am not a FC Barcelona fan.
ОтветитьHi, as a female solo female traveller would you recommend to stay in gothic quarter, Eixample or Sagrada? 😊🇪🇸💃🏼
ОтветитьWOW, what a beautiful place! Thanks for the tour! You have a great channel! Very Cool! Thank you for sharing this spectacular video. Liked and SUBBED!
ОтветитьYou had me until "eco friendly sunscreen" & Only traveling with a carry on to "save airplane fuel" That's just childish and catering to the ignorant...
ОтветитьI really enjoyed your video. Going to Barcelona in October. What information can you share about all documentation that will be needed. We are checking on the Barcelona Card should also include a T-Casual card. Thank you
ОтветитьThank you for this great video! It's very informative. My husband and I are traveling to Barcelona in September for a cruise. We are arriving a few days early. We arrive late on a Monday night- like we won't get into our hotel until 10 pm. Would you be able to tell me if there are restaurants/bars still serving that late? It seems dinner is much later there, but on a Monday night I wasn't sure. Thanks :)
ОтветитьHey there fellow travelers! Just watched the CORR Travel video on essential tips for a Barcelona trip, and it's spot on! 🌆✈ The insights about the Barcelona Card and the 1-hour-15-minute transfer validity were really handy. Also, great to know about the alternatives to La Rambla – the hustle there can be a bit overwhelming. And the "T-Casual" ticket for the metro is a real money-saver. Kudos to the presenter for the super useful information! Can't wait to explore Barcelona armed with these pro tips!
ОтветитьWay too crowded.
ОтветитьIm going to Barcelona next summer. This video helped as I am super unprepared and this is my first international trip 😅
ОтветитьKeep your jewellery at home (no expensive watches plz) Or you get robbed
ОтветитьI'm planning on going to Spain later in the year. I had in mind to go to Madrid, Seville and Barcelona. It would only be for 10 days. Was looking at 3 days each in Madrid and Seville and then 4 days in Barcelona. What are you thoughts? Should I do 3 places or should I do 2 and spend more time in Barcelona? Thanks in advance! And thanks for the tips!
ОтветитьHow much would you need for 2 weeks solo traveling?
ОтветитьIf i get the card, does that mean i can just enter la sagrada and park guell whenever just by showing the card?
ОтветитьI live in Barcelona, and my main advice would be avoid La Rambla like the plague. Absolute tourist trap, locals avoid it if they can, and the restaurants are all overpriced and substandard. You'll be pestered with "coffeeshop coffeeshop?" (codeword for "weed) every 10 metres - and later a night people will be offering you prostitutes. It might once have been a lively and vibrant place for locals, but that was long ago. Now just avoid. So many better places to see.
Also, for the metro, buy yourself a "T-Casual" ticket. Costs 11.35€ and it gives you ten trips on any kind of public transport. You can even use it to get the train to and from the airport.
I appreciate this video as I’m preparing to move/ retire there in 5 years. Visiting for 2 weeks in April. Excited!
ОтветитьJust got back from 3 days and had an incredible time. The absolute life saver was the hop on hop off tour bus which goes all round the city for 35 euros for 24 hrs. It’s regular, open top, and covers all the main attractions!
ОтветитьJust to add that the ticket’s validity when transferring from bus to metro etc. is valid as long as it is within 1 hour and 15 minutes meaning you will usually just use one valid trip during that time when transferring or when going back
Ответить10 to 15 % tip😅😅😅😅
ОтветитьNice video, I am in Barcelona now and I would question women staying in Raval…..coming from the locals I have talked to….I mean it’s not the Bronx lol, but many better options I feel. Gracia is great where I am staying & not as jam packed as the Gothic Quarter & near plenty of attractions & access to the metro.
ОтветитьBarcelona is awesome..i was there 2times last was sunday after 1week of holidays now working again..but if we talking about Barcelona man i recomendent to all people who love everything easy cause there people realy enjoy in life..i personaly realy love that city cause u have a lot but realy a lot things to c..la rambla is around more than 1km long that is let say heart of the city and realy its not expensive..i live in Slovenija and price are almoust the same except the fruit..fruit is very cheap in Barca and u must try katalonian ice cream..cant wait next time to go visit that beautiful atractive city..❤❤❤❤❤❤
ОтветитьQuestions from a first time visitor: which city should I vist after Barcelona? Valencia, Sevilla or Bilbao?
ОтветитьThank you so much for this!
ОтветитьI’ve looked closely at the Barcelona Card, but it feels like one must then go to the ticket counter, which could take a lot of time if there’s a long line. I also heard the discounts are applied to retail ticket office price, and that advanced online purchases can offer similar discounts and allow you to avoid a ticket line.
ОтветитьLove this video 😍 it was very informative and helpful. Thanks!😊
ОтветитьThanks for sharing this video!😊😊
ОтветитьYes ❤
ОтветитьLove your accent, what part of the US are you? Thats the accent i wanna have.......
Ответитьgreat video, but the background music was a little monotenous and distracting.
ОтветитьDo you have any recommendations for food & wine tours in Barcelona?
ОтветитьVery useful ❤ thank you
ОтветитьBarcelona no esta en la Costa Brava. Nada que ver.
