This is a great resource of books to read.
I have to save this and come back for non-fiction books to read. So many of them I want to read and you put me on to some new ones.

I have that same edition of Sister Outsider and it's just stunning. Also, I found Lead from the Outside underwhelming but I'm glad I read it. Also ALSO take your tiiiime with The Bluest Eye. It's brilliant but devastating!

I'm reading Mistborn right now... it's my first Brandon Sanderson. I love Talia Hibbert. I'm still waiting on Eve's story, but the others were so good. I read The Bluest Eye in college in an African American lit class... I need to go back and read it again because that was over 20 years ago. This was a great haul... I can't wait to watch more of your videos!

Wow great selection of books! I have/have read quite a few. The audio of the difficult non-fiction are so much easier, but lately I want a physical copy to annotate, so I'm slowly getting those too. I listened to Will My Cat Eat My Eyeballs but I nearly ordered that copy earlier today because hello, peeking cat face. It's funny you want to visit a body farm. After I read Stiff I really want my corpse to go there. Many Worlds: I love this in fiction, like The Midnight Library and especially Dark Matter. I also finally got myself a hardcover of House in the Cerulean Sea! That book is so comforting I've already re-listed TWICE. I am not much of a re-reader but... stress. I love it so hard. I hope you enjoy all of your books!

Since you enjoy books on the Russian czars AND fantasy, you might enjoy the alt-America created by Charlaine Harris in her Gunnie Rose series. A kind of feminist Western with Russian wizards. Crazy, huh?! But I love the series. Great in audio.

And, I guess we can be reading Besties because I LOVED The House in the Cerulean Sea. 5 stars. Perfection!

I haven't finished the series yet but each book is from a different character's POV so they're not exactly chronological.

Just found your channel. Love your energy ! “ The Bluest Eye” is my favorite novel from Toni Morrison. I just finished “ The Prophets” by Robert Jones, Jr. it was amazing ! I have been thinking about the characters for days. His writing is very much in the vein of Queen Morrison. She would be proud. Is Nigel a French Bulldog ? I have an English bulldog and am very curious about the French bulldog’s temperament. Mine was so sweet as a puppy and 6 years later he is a DIVA ! 🐶❤️
