I grew up Christian and saw what I thought was a demon when I was 7ish. I've since been diagnosed with Bipolar/ADHD, and I'm pretty sure it was a hallucination. I've never seen/heard or come across any evidence of the paranormal since. However, if someone were to ask me if I've seen a spirit... I'd have to shrug.

mmm you're a bit off there. Beelzebub is the entity worshipped by one of the many "Baal" cults. Hence the name Baal - zebub. Likewise there is Baal - Peor or Baal - phehor or Belphegor. There is also was the Baal - Berith. All of these demons are aspects of the original Cananite Baal. With respect then it is probably oversimplifying it to say that Baal somehow ceased to be worshipped. It is likely that Belial is also another iteration of Baal. Just sayin xx
