Steven Furtick | False Teacher

I don’t like Elevation cause I feel Furtick is an arrogant man who yells way to much about himself when he himself hasn’t been through so much. My family friend was a pastor who has lived in a time and place which was extremely violent and saw death and was a Drug Abuser and almost died yet he is very kind and warming to us even when preaching and met all his followers when he retired.

When I first saw this so called pastor on TV my spirit told me to pass on him. I did not feel comfortable watching him. He’s a false teacher

Jesus' whole mission on earth required that He keep the Law perfectly.

I am thoroughly blown the fuck away that you think there could possibly be such a thing as "bible believing".

I have listened to many many services by Furtick. Did anyone catch that he only showed a SMALL PIECE of the sermon?? What parent would NOT do everything possible to get their child to the hospital in that sitiation? He isnt saying Gods laws are speed limits, he is using that as an ANALOGY. A comparison that humans can inderstand. I believe Furtick is trying to get accross the point that God shed his blood so people didnt have to be bound by the "law" of the times when people had to slaughterring animals.
Again, this seams to me like twisting Furticks words. I dont think he is suggesting that Jesus isnt God. I see it as showing how Jesus said he had to leave this earth. "A different form" to me sugests that Jesus is now up in Heaven. We have him in our heart but he is no longer here beside us on this planet in the "FORM" of a human being.
Again, i habe listened to many many many of Furticks survices IN THEIR ENTIRERTY and he DOES us the Bible to teach in every one of them. Its my belief that he uses personal experiences and shared stories from his own walk wirh Christ not to be self righteous, but to put Biblical circumstances into alalogies that people can relate to and easily understand. I have never taken it as deminishing God or Jesus in any way shape or form. Anyone can hear a small piece of something someone is saying and misconstrue the meaning of it. Then the person it gets gossipped to thinks someone bad about something someone said, when in fact that wasnt what was said at all. The small clippings shown here take the sermon out of context, like overhearing part of a conversation.
Also, at the end of each service he gives the oportunity for people to give their life to Christ for the 1st time or to come back to Him. Part of that prayer is " i believe He died for me and rose again that i may be saved" Ive never ever heard Furtick shrink the importance of Jesus' work on the cross.
I feel the Holy Spirit almost every sermon of his that i listen to and quite often break into tears from being reasured and comforted by the messages Furtick preaches. Yall have to listen and decide for yourselves, meanwhile ill pray for descernment to. I sure HOPE that im not the one being led astray, but Furtick always preaches from the Bible, then uses his own experiences and/or "imagine this" time scenarios to make it easier to relate and inturpret. It doesnt come accross to me as making the Bible about him, but rather making the Bible easier to relate to

I disagree to this video I feel the holly spirit through his preachings and I have been blessed a million times over!! but Freedom of speech so I wont hate or dislike but I will comment. God bless and any one that reads this comment make sure you follow your heart on who you like.

I think for me to define a false preacher or not is when they start speaking about Repentance and whether the gospel spoken by them has had a conviction on you or not. Because when you have the spirit of God in you. He will let you know who is true and false.
As for Steven Furtick, I won't deny that he's really helped me through hard times but as I dive deeper into the word of God I tried to search for a sermon of m Steven Furtick on Repentance and how to turn away from worldly desires. Because all his sermons are about God being good to you but that's only half of the truth and it's clearly just sugarcoating us not making us repent. When clearly the word of God says that his gospel shouldn't be less of what is written or more of than what is written, but many pastors fear teaching the truth because many people will leave the church. But I pray that God will show him the way and to come into repentance as he is preaching to a lot of people. I hope he is true to God. please correct me if I'm wrong in my judgments as it is purely based on personal experience, but I am open to improvement and knowing more about God and his teachings. Some say it's easy to follow him and see his theological flaws because he is so deceptive, or his preaching and theology are. its easy for ppl (especially extroverts like him) to see that deception. my husband watches his sermons but i don't think he's seen or heard one with these heretical themes in them to tip him off. My husband has a masters from a very conservative bible college and i know he would understand the things steven says that creeps up into some of his sermons.

I just watched this almost 3 years later. Thank You for pointing out the details of Steven Furtick. It's horrendous that False Furtick has a large following. Folks with channels like yours do a great job in demonstrating what makes these false preachers heretics.😢

The Trinity is a Roman Catholic heresy. I think Steven meant that Jesus was taking on his divine form that all believers receive after the resurrection.
