Laid-off while on H1-B? Here is what you can do

Hello ma'am, any suggessions on what we can do if we are laid off during the OPT period? or worse, don't get an offer at all because of the recession? i.e. just out of Grad School, on an F1 Visa, trying to pay off student debts, large scale lay offs in tech companies. What are our options then? Thanks.

One Important point is to be alert from scammers/Fraudsters since the person will be vulnerable and desperate so Fraudsters will try to manipulate, ask money in lieu of providing Job etc.

After all this even if they get another job they will still be wage slaves on h1b waiting on the 195 year green card which is the fate for Indians.

It’s best to cut loose from America uproot and get out.

The most sad line in this entire video is "Moving back to India is considered the most dreaded option :(. We all were brought up in this country , had our most of our education which enabled us to move abroad , it should never be considered the most dreaded option to move back to home . I don't think the living standards in India are that bad , most probably it is the work culture and absence of work life balance !
