cant really explain I feel bad for the small strays too as its just part of animal behavior, even the strays I feed and pet often growl at my dog. So I just hope all are fine also the Rott wasnt wrong he was being attacked so..

as an animal lover and self proclaimed professional of canine pets,
first problem~ is the absurd amount of strays in around our streets, nothing is done from our government,
secondly~, why is a small girl handling a rotti ????? BIG QUESTION MARK, however loyal a dog is to its owners , it could shred anybody apart. I know many irresponsible owners love to have big dogs, poorly trained, their instincts are of wolves, its just nature.

Train/tame your dogs, socialize them, put them on a leash handled by an adult.
These breeds should be banned, Only licensed owners should have such breeds like Rottis, , Kangals, Mastiffs, Malamutes, Doberman, and the infamous PItts to name a few. Even cute chowchows can shred your entire face off.
TLDR: if you cant handle your animal GET A FREAKING CAT OR A TORTOISE, HAMSTER WHATEVER.

The rooti isn't at fault here. The good stray turned bad to him, for some reason ( some strays really hate the pet dogs for some unknown reasons, may be they wanna prove to their others friend " देखी मेरी हिम्मत"😂) and quickly switched to his Bruce Lee mode and attacked first. Like any good owner, the owner here did his/her best to control the situation but the strays BL mode forced him to keep attacking when rotti made himself free and jumps into the ring to do the right thing. Only hope, stray is fine and rotti too.
I faced this situation many a times. Two or three strays really hate my Jimmy GSD for no any reason. Jimmy is a playful buddy and never attack any stray. Moreover, few strays gave him company on his walk too.But those silly strays are really irritating and sometimes they came so close too.but I never unleashed Jimmy.But Jimmy taught them a lesson altogether and after that day i never saw those strays around my area.

right! you got some knowledge, my friend. Also, pulling the dog by the back of the neck on leash, only intensifies it aggressiveness. She would have done a better job preventing a fight if she had made certain, the dog walked beside her and not ahead of her.some noises and a soft touch to the dogs to let them know you were in command.

I think the fight could’ve been a lot worse. Had they not known each other. The Rotti actually held back in my opinion. I wouldn’t call this a full on fight. It was more about dominance improving who the big dog is.

That street dog thought he was alpha and found out quick that he really wasn’t. This wasn’t a real fight. It was more about dominance. The girl did right by letting them go. This needed to be settled.

Anytime your dog is being attacked. Do not pull the leash back because as you can see, he was just getting chewed on and not able to defend himself.

Luckily, it was just in the beginning, but if they continued holding him back, he could’ve died

Hi ya’ll, I explained the whole situation but somehow the comment got deleted, so here it goes again. The rottweiler’s name is Turbo. He’s properly trained and is literally the sweetest. Rottweilers are know for their aggression, but trained ones never attack unless they sense danger ,are triggered or attacked first. The stray was also friendly with us, he literally grew up down our house . Whenever we took Turbo down for a walk , the dogs used to follow him fondly and play with him. ( therefore none of the other dogs reacted ) But after his papa dog died of old age, he became the alpha. Few days before the attack, the white one stopped being friendly and started growling at Turbo in a weird way, which was obviously some kind of threat. I started taking a stick with us as the strays were getting out of control, i NEVER intended to use it. The strays were never afraid of us, cause we fed them regularly. Plus we never really thought the stray was going to attack, he was real friendly. On this day, Turbo was returning from his walk when the white started growling first, which provoked our rottweiler. Turbo was already pissed at him so he started barking. When the white got up and came at us, Turbo lost his cool. My first intention was to save the dogs from physical injuries , so i was stupid enough to come between them instead of commanding them to stop. I started screaming hysterically as I was bitten by the the white one on my toe with out realising it (not visible in the video) This was the final blow for Turbo and he chased down the white dog out of our street. Our rottweiler clearly saw this as a treat to his family so he reacted as any guard dog would. Luckily no one suffered any injuries, and the white dog is perfectly fine and healthy. After the incident, the white dog stopped growling at our Turbo and stayed out of the way. It’s like they started respecting each other again. This video was meant to stay between our families, but it got viral and we recieved so much hate for this. I wish people read about the entire situation before harsh commenting.
