アメリカは都市部は治安の悪さなど問題になっていますが郊外は昔のままのアメリカのイメージを保っていて良いですね。
久しぶりに子供達がのびのびと楽しそうに過ごしている姿を見てほっこりしました😊

Happy 4th of July. I am glad you having fun in USA. I am curious the reverse culture shocks you have. When you come back to US from Japan especially the children perspective?

In my humble opinion the strategy of not sleeping when trembling until you’re at your destination and it’s a reasonable evening hour is the absolute best strategy! It might be hard to keep awake but it’ll pay off 😅

Grandmas rock! We can sympathize with the Midwest storms. Southern Minnesota seems to sit smack dab on the border between two fronts all the time. Makes for exciting weather!

アメリカでも花火大会？あるんですね！日本ではあまりない平屋の住居が土地が広いせいか多いと感じました。

アメリカは広大だから車がないと生活できないとは良く聞きますね。子供にとってもそうでしょうね。車社会のアメリカ、日本の交通機関の便利さ、それぞれ国の違いを体験できて良かったですね。子供たちは将来どのような人生を歩むのでしょうか。

７月4日は公立の小学校、中学校はまだ夏休みでなく授業があっています。日本人の感覚だと学校を休ませて旅行に行くというのは考えられないのだけどアメリカの感覚では親が決定することなのでしょう。文化の違いなのでしょうね。
