Finally I can become a banana
ОтветитьWhy does this have like no views
ОтветитьNo! Why would U want to? God knew me before I was in my mother's womb!
Ответитьwho edit her DNA ?
ОтветитьI want Vietnamese subtitles
ОтветитьAmazing!
ОтветитьGrooming you for the mark of the beast.
No thanks.
Once upon a time a great balanced view of the ethical questions behind the genius here ... the ending conclusion is : it is not the technology that is problematic, it is what we do with it ... but having said that ... Let's look at the world out there, isn't it too early to use this since humanity is still massively attracted to "money" and power ... so that it is quite clear that this technology will be used badly and will have disastrous consequences ... We shall put real efforts understanding what makes this planet a nice and peaceful place, and what do we want to see in the future ? Is the future driven by "love", "compassion", "ethic", "democracy", "agroecokogy", "sustainability" and "reforestation" for example ? ... Not yet ...
ОтветитьTake your Transhumanist Agenda and edit yourselves away from the rest of us. We don't want to be around you either.
ОтветитьYou have to ask permission to edit it, but not to kill it? If consent is on the parent to make the choice for abortion - why not for gene editing?
ОтветитьI don't see the problem here. We have medicine that cures or suppresses diseases.
This is essentially the same thing but on a cellular level and it would work for things like cancer that we have been working on for literally decades with little or no success.
It could literally eradicate fatal diseases around the world.
Stopping deafness isn’t genocide. I’m not seeing the ethical issue.
Ответитьlove her talks I still think that using other animals is unethical, even if there are millions of pigs being slaughtered for the meat industry
ОтветитьGreat speaker
ОтветитьI enjoy these talks greatly - as I did the first book. I have the second one (Junk DNA) next to my bedside...but am considering reading the latest one (which I just saw in a booksop last week) next...thinking it will contain the latest research. I would like to know your (Nessa) thoughts on the opinions of David Sinclair about the role of epigenetics on aging (I also read his book, and watched several of his talks). Certainly in 2015, you felt the epigenetics played a minor role in aging, whereas he thinks it plays a very major role. Have you since 2015 adapted your views on this, or do the two of you still differ strongly on your views about aging?
ОтветитьThat was a brilliant presentation!
ОтветитьSalvation is only for Humans. Any altering with your DNA will disqualify you. Be careful.

ОтветитьDisagree… you thought dna and genes couldnt change once, now you say once they change theyre stuck like that, but i call BS. Chrck back in 100 years to see im right.
ОтветитьIts a perfect imperfection. Theres always an exception. We are gods
ОтветитьWe allow science to progress while we work for miniscule wages. They should share the wealth, these generous “donator’s “
ОтветитьYeah, but he put china on the map again knowing they “can do it”
ОтветитьSo how do I edit my DNA?
ОтветитьHow to download DNA editing software?
ОтветитьSome of these arguments are silly. I don't think anyone is going to complain if we cure deafness and don't need sign language anymore...
Ответитьwhat if i want to remove any native american or sub saharan dna from my acestry?
