Less than zero is an excellent film and I believe, his best. I was crushing so hard on him in the 80's and he's even MORE gorgeous today. My daughter crushes on him now!😂

I am so proud of him! I always loved him and my heart broke when he kept getting into trouble.
As far as the media not being allowed to ask him about that stuff makes sense ESPECIALLY because he was promoting a Marvel movie, and kids are watching it (yes I know adults watch too, I am one of them) like why ask about it another time?!

He faked his prison sentence. He needed a publicity boost because he sucked and he knew it. He couldn't even make it on SNL. So what did he do? He faked his drug charges to gain sympathy from the public. Everyone loves a comeback kid. He is gay btw. That is why he was with Sarah Jessica, and all the other beard wives he has had. Now she is with gay Matthew Broderick. Downey did make alot of money off Covid 19 vaccines though. I think he was invested in bitcoin and lost it all too. 😢

Drugs can seriously damage you in this town ... laughable after what Hollyweird has done.

You cannot make us feel bad for celebs. They have no idea what problems are...

A few clarifications....Downey Sr was a cocaine addict (he admits to this in the SR doc), and he also gave the drug to his son. RDJ has said that it was the only way his dad knew of to express his love, to bond with his son. There is one interview in which RDJ explicitly mentions his dad sharing the drug with him. Also, he didn't just wander into a house and fall asleep. If you look up the coverage of the incident when it happened, the story was that he had been partying and was not able to drive himself home. An acquaintance drove him to his neighborhood, but dropped him off at the wrong house. He found a way in, went in, and found a bed. He didn't "fall asleep", paramedics had to be called to revive him. If he had found his way to his own home that night, in the condition he was in, no one probably would've found him in time to revive him.
And those first arrests in 1996 were just a few weeks after his wife took their son and left him, so that's why he went off the deep end.

He’s alive, healthy, married, & obscenely rich. He struggled, but the “tragedy” seems pretty f*****g averted.

Oh no, can we cry about another rich (former?) drug addict celebrity? What a tough life having everything and self destructing because you got caught up in the hollywood lifestyle of the self absorbed and narcistic celebrities. Give me a break. Don't get me wrong, I like Robert Downey Jr. but this "tragic real life story" is nonsense. Like this does not happen to regular people. The real tragedy is the narration and editing in this video, like we should feel sorry for him and make him out to be a hero. If his story motivates others positively, then that is great, but I doubt it will. At least I have not heard anyone say yet "Robert Downey" saved me from myself. LMAO

Him doing other drugs had nothing to do with marijuanna it was the search for a better high, he was a classic addict unfortunately. Not chasing the drugs themselves but chasing the freedom he felt while he took the drugs. First weed, then he got older and tried some cocaine, once he did that he enjoyed the high of cocaine better then life itself, its unfortunately a story told time and time again.

its fun to think of how at 23 if I had known what it does to you from the age of 8 I would probably have been way more successful.
