They are literally often given a personality to play in front of the camera, no influence on the music they sing or the dances they dance. Not every group but 99%. The biggest Touring problem is the American Promoters most K-pop shows are being thrown into the middle of week instead of weekends. I wanted to go to Chuu's tour but the promoter keeps scheduling k-acts during the week instead of weekends in Major Cities like LA and NY which is biggest markets in K-pop. I would need to travel in order to see some of my favorite artists.

I'm not taking any sides but I find it hard to sympathise with a grown CEO who is inserting herself into the group she has created (even putting herself in the merch) as if she is one of the members. It's like an author/show creator self-insert into the fictional world they're creating (and more often than not, self-insert characters are always the most boring, marysue, unlikable with no character development). And the way the fandom is encouraging and claiming her as the 6th member. Can't they see how dangerous it could get - the whole new jeans interactions with MHJ gives me the "we're all family" bs that a lot of toxic working environments have. As someone who smokes, I hate that because of Jennie, naive people are out here loosely commenting that smokers never care about endangering others & that’s not true. The 5-note melody in the chorus is Easier Said Than Done can be found in Get Up and Dance by Freedom 1979. The chord progressions (which dates classical music) with the drums was done by Alphonse Mouzon first in 1981 Next Time We Love. Shakatak copied black musicians and try to send cease and desist letters? That's what culture vultures do. You cannot copyright chord progressions or a simple 5-note melody.
